Holy crap what a game the Clippers just played.

I’m quite sure it is probably just a speed bump for the Warriors, but what a fantastic job by Doc Rivers and his guys.

Lou Williams just balled out...

This is the easiest team to root for I've ever experienced. They have multiple comebacks like this, though this is a different story coming in the playoffs vs the defending champions/ favorites. It helps that the team is doubly exceeding expectations--- no one had them in the playoffs to start the year, then discounted them again after they traded their leading scorer. Add in that they seem very likable, especially in contrast with the lob city teams, and that they're young, with notable exceptions.

If you were Kawhi Leonard and you're from LA, would you rather join the Lakers, stay with Toronto, or join these guys next year?

Harrell impresses the hell out of me down low.

He bludgeoned the Warriors in the paint and exposed one of their very few weeknesses.

Like to see Galinari get it going.

BTW I agree that Kawhi goes to the Clips.

They will be a real problem for teams in the Western conference.

In spite of my clear bias and the attractiveness of the Clippers' situation going forward, I can easily see him staying in Toronto. It's a great city with great fans, the team is good, and the GM and coach seem good. Lowry's issues are the only thing that is a true basketball negative, and the other big negative is the not home/not warm issue. But players tend to love being in Toronto, though few seem to stay.

We’ll just have to agree to disagree.

Just bought his mom a huge spread right out here in Rancho Santa Fe, and most NBA reports I’ve heard acknowledge they believe there is little to zero chance he remains in Toronto.

I think I even have wager with DL on it.... So he better end up LA....😉

Trust me, I hope you're right and if I had to bet, I'd bet on LA. Just wanted to point out that it would be more about LA than Toronto being undesirable.

Something tells me nine minutes won't be enough time for my Clips to come back from 36 down. Bad math.....

I know there are a lot of people that don't like Blake Griffin, but dude has really reworked his game to compensate for the loss of athleticism from his various injuries.

He's become a much better (and higher volume) 3pt shooter and he's sneakily become a very good defender.

Also props for not sulking when traded from LA to Detroit. Dude has been nothing but completely professional.

Totally agree. He was misunderstood when he was out here (as was his game---even by him), but he's continued to grow.

On 1 good leg, he's defending Giannis as well as anyone I've seen.

Reminds me a bit of how Vince Carter matured over the years.

Couldn’t imagine a better face of the franchise.

Waiving off the shit talking Thunder after the game winner is one of my favorite Blazer moments.

I couldn't believe even Lillard, as good as he is from deep, took THAT shot on purpose. I've never seen anyone take a shot that long in that situation according to plan. And George played it about as well as he could without going right up on him and letting him get around him. But that said, I don't know if even a mid-range jumper on the move would have been easier for him than that shot. He was epic already in the game, and that shot made it legendary.

And then the wave......

Gotta agree with ESPN on this one … the definition of a good shot has changed.

For some people. There are still a lot of bad shots taken by people who think that good numbers for some are good numbers for all....

Been a Lillard man from the start. That final shot was one for the ages. Lillard 1st team all NBA?

Once again … Steph has changed the game imo.
Before him, that shot isn't taken.
He's emboldened an entire generation of gunslingers

Absolutely. Even guys like Lopez and Bjelica are routinely launching and making 28+ footers.

Deserving. But I don't see how he bumps off Harden or Curry.
