The home of the Milwaukee Brewers will be renamed when MillerCoors' naming rights expire following the 2020 season.

MillerCoors said in a statement Tuesday the rights to Miller Park will go to American Family Insurance beginning in 2021. MillerCoors said American Family proactively pitched the Brewers "an incredibly rich offer" for future naming rights to the ballpark.

Good news! My wife is actually gonna get paid for the work she does for the first time in a month. Novel concept! Trump, the great bumbling idiot.

I was just getting used to having my husband around all the time. I guess it was a preview of what it will be like when he retires.

All in all - it was 34 days too late - but it's good that our country can return to some semblance of normal. The economists have said that the cost to the country was in the multi-billions and the residual hit to the GDP has not even been measured yet. Nice job, fiscal conservatives.

If anyone watched channel 4 news at 10:00 last night my husband Brian was interviewed about the end of the shutdown. That makes about the sixth media appearance he made (some were print articles) during the shutdown. It may have gone to his head a bit.

Actually, I think it is the Dems that caused federal employees not to be paid.

The unions would disagree. Lawsuits were filed against the Trump administration for violating the Fair Labor Standards Act (for forcing employees to work while not being paid).

I had an SBA contract for consulting and loan packaging back in the late 1990's. I didn't get paid for work I performed from late December until early July of the following year. Over six months! I sucked it up and put my time in on the contract. I got paid in one lum sum check in mid-July. No late fees, no interest, just the amount due me for my time submitted. Federal employees sign up for this when they take a government job. It goes with the territory.

That is rich. A government agency filing a lawsuit against itself.

You do remember that Trump said he owned the shutdown and was proud of it, right?

They really wimped out on cancelling schools in the St. Cloud and surrounding area today. I entirely understand Wed. closing, however, as of now, they have not announced closing schools on Thursday and that morning is supposed to be 35-36 below zero, the coldest day in like five or six years.

Air temps are worst Thursday, but there isn't supposed to be much wind. Wind chills are worse today and tomorrow.

The business I work for, Clow Stamping, decided to shut down today at 2:00 Until Thursday at 8:00 due to the cold. One of our bigger customers, LifeFitness is shut down tomorrow. Many trucking companies aren't picking up or delivering. I think the schools did the right thing. I bet you there will be a lot of them starting 2 hrs late Thursday also, at least there better be.

With my car sitting out in the parking lot and exposed to the elements all day today, do you think there's any benefit in starting it around 1:00 and taking it for a 10 minute drive or so? Will that have any impact on whether it will start OK at around 6:00 tonight?

I've heard just running it and not driving it could backfire. I'd at least get the RPMs up a bit before you turn it off.

Am I right that it's better to take it for a drive and get the RPMs up?

Not sure if the RPM's matter but just running for 10 mins would help.

BS.

People who work those jobs are not contractors.

They should not have been forced to work without pay.

And the government should never have been shut down for the orange idiot's pet project.
