GCL Twins won 6-0 and 9-4

Cavaco had a hit/rbi

Chalmers 5IP 5k, one hit allowed.

This is the hard thrower MN got from OAK last year

Game 2, Valdez had a 2 run HR4), drove in 3

Rochester officially announces that IF/C Caleb Hamilton and RHP Randy Dobnak have been added.

Lewis hit his 9th dinger at FTM today (solo) De la Trinidad his first (2 run) in 5-4 win

Second game 5 hit shutout loss 2-0, Duran walked 3 K'd five in 4 IP

Lewis went 1-4, now at .243 on the year.

Pensacola walked off 5-3 last night on a 2 run HR by Contreras(6)
Diaz had 2 hits, including a solo hr(5 at AA, hitting .303) and Kirilloff had 2 hits. Larnach had 3 strikeouts.

Jax fanned 8 in 7IP, 4H/2R/1ER

Ft. Myers announced that IF Ryan Costello has been promoted to Pensacola with Yeltsin Encarnacion moving from Cedar Rapids to the Miracle.

Down in Rochester, Wilin Rosario has a double, 3 HR and 7 RBI. Jaylin Davis is 5-6 with 3 doubles. Drew Maggi has four hits including a homer. Ronald Torreyes has three hits, including two doubles. Oh, they're ahead 16-1 in the 8th.

Randy Dobnak, just called up from AA, provided six shutout innings He gave up four hits, walked two and struck out six batters. Cody Allen threw a scoreless 7th inning. Struck out one.

That's the exact ball-strike ratio I saw at my niece's 10U "fast pitch" softball game a couple weeks ago.

They let the kids throw like 4 pitches in each at bat, and I'm not sure why they even bother. The coach then comes in and throws. Not sure I saw a single hitter swing at a pitch thrown by a kid the entire game.

I would have them wait for the coach.

Roch lost 9-7 Thursday

Bullpen game. Jake Reed 3 shutout innings

Moya gave up 2 solo HRs in the 9th and lost.

Gordon was 3-4 with a solo HR; Jaylin Davis 1-5/2RBI(38 at AAA in 36 games). Hitting .356, SLG .742

Pensacola won 2-1 , game 1 of 2 Kirilloff 1-3/R in leadoff. Colina won went distance 3H/R/Bb/10K (7IP)

FTM is up 2-0 4th inning Lewis hit a solo HR, #10
CR is up 4-0 in the third, 3 run HR(#6) for Wander Javier

Eliz is up 7-2, Wallner has 2 RBI, Villalobos and Holland have solo HRs

You can't make stuff like that up because nobody would believe it. That sounds like a Bull Durham plot.

Sunday he went 2-5/2rbi in the leadoff spot, Pensacola won 5-0.

One benefit of having Hi-A and AA in same state.

Kirilloff went 1-5/rbi, and played at first base, post-Lewin Diaz trade.

Roch 6-5 win, Always-loved Jake Cave 2-4/2R HR. Jaylin Davis 0-4.

FTM lost 7-3. Not much to be thrilled about as that team has been gutted of its best players.

CR lost 5-0. Ditto. IMO, the lower levels are not all that impressive at this point.

According to SethTweets, the # of prospects that have hit 100mph in the system this year.

Graterol, Duran, Colina, Quezada.

first 3 are starters, fourth is a bullpen guy at FTM

Anthony Escobar is an 18-year-old in the GCL. Today he gave up one run on five hits in a career-high 7 innings. He walked 2 and struck out 6. On the season, he's made 5 appearances (4 starts). In 25.2 IP, 18 H, 7 BB, 24 K.

Lewis led off tonight for Pensacola with his second double in as many games, then stole third, where he was stranded.

Roch is up 1-0, Jake Cave 16th double.

Cedar Rapids lost 9-7, reportedly scouts from SF and TOR were in attendance. My opinion, the one guy the probably were watching Wander. he was 1-5/R

Shiny Coin Report

19 year old Donny Breek of the Netherlands fanned 8 in 6 shutout/2 hit innings, GCL won 2-1. Cron was 0-4\

Liz down 3-2. Wallner, at .294 with a 1-1/R so far tonight.

Roch scoreless in the second. Cave has the only hit, now at .352 at AAA. Where he is well suited apparently.

Gordon left the AAA game after being HBP Roch won 7-2 thanks to a five run 8th
Zander Wiel hit his 31st double and 18th HR, driving in 2. Cave had 2 hits. Dobnak WP with 6 innings after the opener.

Pensacola lost 8-5. Costello and Larnach each hit their 2nd HR. Lewis had 2 hits, Kirilloff was 1-5

Duran had 5 perfect innings with 8 strikeouts, then didn't get an out in the sixth gave up 5 runs on 3 hits and 2 walks.

FTM lost in five 3-2. Rain shortened at Lakeland FLA
De La Trinidad drove in both runs

Eliz won 10-6
4th round pick Gray(3B) 7th HR, driving in 2. 2018 6th round pick Mack(2B) hit his sixth double and sixth HR in the win.

And CR won 3-2

Akins 2 hits /BB/R/RBI
