Let's go Bulldogs! Finish what Monson started. Not that I care about that. But it would be sweet to see our first mid-major champion since UNLV, and if you want to argue against that, Marquette. Or the one Butler was robbed of several years ago.

I find myself rooting for NC tonight. I don't know why. I normally favor the little guys. But NC is just really good and I appreciate quality.

Meeks sealed the deal.

Not pretty, but a great game.

That was a game that, to me, shows where college hoops are.

Lots of 3's attempted.

Lots of contact.

Lots of fouls called.

CAN BE entertaining. Can also be difficult to watch, like this one was for me.

Yeah, didn't enjoy it much. Really enjoyed the UNC/Kentucky tilt, and a few others in the other rounds. This one, not so much.

Not a Roy lover, but appreciated his comments that he didn't blame the refs, as much as his "awful offense"

RIcky is expecting to be canned.

Yup, the feds apparently have wiretaps and recordings

Agree w/what I heard someone say this morning.

NCAA idiots should punish the coaches, esp those who violate and move on, much much heavier than the schools they were violating with.

Reports now out that Rick P has been fired.

Should take some of that shine off. Too many dirty things he's somehow shrugged off over the years.

So far, no reports of hooker or 100k payments in the kid's program.
Try not to follow in Dad's footsteps.

Hoping Roy Williams gets sucked into this somehow.

His claiming he no idea the fake classes were happening is an insult to everybody with a brain.

Lets hope some of these guys sing and sing about all the other dirty people. Tired of plausible deniability always saving their ass.

Boy, no kidding. If we can somehow work North Carolina and Kansas into this I'd be a lot happier.

I would assume that if Pitino the younger even remotely had some contacts heading down this road it would all come to a screeching halt now.

So many thoughts

* bout time
* the FBI? Seriously? The country doesn't have more pressing issues?
* this isn't wrist slapping, people ... this is JAIL TIME
* since it's JAIL TIME, expect some of the jailed to make some deals to take down the bigger fish
* can't help but think the one-and-done's have caused a lot of the problem, or should I say the suckers who hang around the one-and-done's
* billions of dollars run thru this operation, and the players (who its supposed to be all about) .... make none of the dollars. (yeah... scholarships, yeah) .... Can't stay that way.

I'm disgusted by it all.

Men, 18 years of age should not be required to indenture themselves for a year or two before they can make a living. Free market. If the Blazers want to draft a High School Senior, why not? They don't need protection.

You want kids to stay in school? Pay them. Not outrageously, but pay them.

Little known fact, your athletic scholarship is on a one year renewal basis. You get hurt, scholarship gone.

These kids aren't going to school to get an education. Stop pretending they are. Stop pretending you care. Stop pretending you are doing them a favor.

Who would have thunk it, college basketball and football is actually way more about the money than the professional leagues.

Not sure these kids weren't getting paid.

I think it's mostly adults making money off these kids though.

ie: some HS coaches would charge college recruiters for a phone call to a player
