And here I was like a year and a bit away from possibly going there with my first vacation time.

SOB.

You said most, not all so I'm sure I can find some fun.

I'm going to go surfing for that news.

The measures announced Saturday would affect about 36 coffee shops in the center itself — a little less than 20 percent of the city total.

That's ok.

Good idea for a thread Todd. This is where we can talk about what a screwed up society we are.

Great idea and we have tried it before without success.  Let's hope it sticks (too bad this software doesn't allow us to move individual posts).

I'll smoke you...

It would be better if we could move posts dangit...

If there was more common courtesy people would use this thread and it would probably be fun.

But you are all Americans...

Anyone catch SNL this past weekend?

Sanburg's stuff was freaking hilarious!  Especially his video.

I wasn't that drunk, mostly tired.  We had a hotel room and freedom from the little ones so sleep was one of the priorities.

With an Omaha ordinance requiring pit bulls to be muzzled starting in January, some owners are taking their pets to an obedience class exclusively for the breed.

They should enact that law on humans.  The dogs aren't the problem.

Does anyone know if gift wrapping paper is recyclable?

Sure, if you open your gifts carefully you can reuse the paper next year.

Does it matter?  Just ask the store clerk, or your sister, who wraps them for you.

I don't think I ever even noticed wrapping paper when I was a kid.

Seriously though, it's pretty ridiculous what we've come to as a society in caring about wrapping paper in general.  Does it really matter if your present is wrapped in comic strips or wrapped in some $20 giftwrap?  What's the difference?
