It's a stupid play call regardless. To see if get stuffed and think "lets run it again" was pure idiocy. It shouldn't have been called once

Exactly.

You know what play might work coach? Literally any other one than you just ran and see gain NOTHING!

Don’t want a Defensive guy as head coach. Just don’t.

Fair enough. But KOC ain't it.

Odds say no coach will be it. How many active coaches have won a Super Bowl ?

How many will?

Basically you can say all coaches that haven’t won a Super Bowl are not it and 95% of the time you will be correct.

Not going to judge too harsh on the fourth string QB.

So now Mullens is the 4th stringer?

Dude is in over his head. At the very least he needs to relinquish play calling and focus on the team as a whole. Players do like playing for him it seems.

Give him any number you want. 4th different starter isn’t debatable.

So I guess Jefferson is the lowest stringer too since he was injured. He's KOCs handpicked backup. Isn't debatable.

Nothing wrong with the call, yet it gets repeated time-after-time it was all on the call. He didn't have the ball so it wouldn't of made a difference if it was the two biggest strongest players in the NFL he wasn't going to get across the line.

Bitch, moan and complain all you want - but get it right when ya do it, huh?

The first one was probably a first down. Both officials came in at different spots, one over the line to gain and one short. The ball was placed over, a Cinn player kicked it and it was placed short. That's not here or there, the second one was all on the snap which was not clean!

I'm done with it but you guys keep repeating how it was the call

IDGAS if he had the ball or not. It was weak minded to run it when you just seen it not even come close to working.

To call it the second time was idiotic. Especially putting Powell in the backfield just to do it. I thought they were gonna fake something and throw it to Powell since he was back there again. I should've known better.

It was the QB/center exchange not the call.

Speaking of a bad look -- the stance you two are holding on to is clearly your bias - wanting like everything to be right about it being Kevin but in reality your guy Brian gave up 4 scores out of 5 positions.

I've admitted Flores wasn't good today. Called out the 3 man rushes as they were happening. Your bias is unreal.

Easy first down if the exchange would of been clean

With Mullens running it I highly doubt that play is ever easy.

My bias is getting it right!!! You just want to blame O'Connell. You, Todd and others want to blame it on the call and not the execution doesn't make you look too good. The first down was a piece of cake. But nope, he called the play so he should be fired.

Tush push with Powell instead of Ham. Completely brilliant!

Ricky, have you noticed I get the same treatment on the Twins board that you get here? The players don't execute, and it's the manager or coach at fault. Or so we hear. Hang in there.

Didn't they run that push 3x in a row, or am I remembering wrong? First time Cincinnati called a timeout, so I thought maybe they would run something different, or at least try to draw an offside call.

“It would have been an easy 1st down!”

Yet we were calling it again bc the 1st time wasn’t even close!

Kevin embarrassed himself you don’t have to own it. You are though.

Looks like I saved a bar tab, at least..

It’s a sad state of affairs, if I suffered through so many years of “ almost”, yet now all I see is idiotic decisions, cap money wasted, draft picks thrown away, ridiculous contracts given to players who are all smoke and mirrors, and a string… over 2 decades long, of coaching that belongs in the 1970’s NFL.

I’m drifting away in a sea of never, nothing, and mediocrity..
