Too bad. Green could have a useful player

Cody Williams is the younger brother of J Williams of OKC. He is worth a shot.

Its fine. Green was a rental at best and we needed to clear money.

Konchar would not get minutes here, and his stretch is way less damaging than Green's would have been.

We won't pick up Williams' 4th year option, but he'll be under contract this year. He'll likely spend the whole season in Iowa trying to prove he isn't the massive bust he appears to be. If he plays well, we can use his Bird Rights to sign him for up to 7.7M.

So the team appears set. I approve. They will be contenders, lack of big man depth notwithstanding. That can always be bolstered during the season if need be once we see how things shake out.

We'll probably add 1 more vet minimum (probably a big) after we waive Konchar.

Such a weird world we live in with regards to NCAA and Pros:

TKR is suing the NCAA for a 5th season of collegiate eligibility.
Kaufman-Renn was at PURDUE for 5 seasons, but only played in 4, redshirting his freshman year.

Its smart of him to try. He has no chance to make the Wolves roster and a minimal one to replace Freeman as our 3rd two-way player.

Looks like a good offseason and transformation. Wolves were already contenders but the GM said that's not enough.

He's really done an amazing job of completely rebuilding the roster around Ant,Jaden and Rudy with minimal assets.

Should be a fun team to watch - provided Finch stays out of Ball's way.

I’ll take I Can’t Believe He’s Still in the League for 500, Ken.

But sure, I don’t know, maybe? [insert confused Larry David GIF]

I was there on Love’s 31/31 night. He was the second most impressive player on the floor. Michael Beasley was the first. Beasley was a very talented guy…when he wanted to be…that was the problem.
