If we didn't get the haul we got(Jefferson ++) Diggs would be a huge loss. He made alot of big plays for us.

Diggs will miss the indoor games come November and December. AFC East is probably the worst weather division in all the NFL.

It led to more cap room too, at a time when we needed it. The counter of course is we could simply release Reiff and Rudolph.

Percy prima freakin donna Harvin.
Randy straight cash homie Moss.
Stephan are you not entertained Diggs.
Adrian purple Jesus beats his kid Peterson.
Everson bipolar Griffin.

We didn’t start the fire.

CTE.

Don't forget Smoot and McKinnie's love boat or Favre texting dic pics to the trainer.

Not a transgression per se, but my favorite was Culpepper letting that kid try on his huge necklace then later wanting it back.

A report came out a few days ago that Gronk was going to be the #3 TE for Tampa. Now this one acts like he is Gronk in his prime.

ROB GRONKOWSKI
TE, TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

Bucs coach Bruce Arians thinks Rob Gronkowski benefitted from sitting out last season.
“He looks like he was five or six years ago, before all the injuries,” Arians said. “The back surgeries have healed. No similarities at all [to 2018 Gronkowski].” The Bucs have moved Gronkowski slowly in camp, leading to some concern he may be on a snap count. Gronkowski suggested he could have an every-down role this year, and TE coach Rick Christophel said the issue of keeping Gronk fresh has more to do with practice than their plans for the season. Healthy and playing with Tom Brady, it won't be surprising if Gronkowski leads the Bucs in touchdowns.

Vikes should have made an effort to sign Trent Williams, he's going to be great for several more years. Going against Nick Bosa in practice will keep him great, just like going against Danielle Hunter innpractice has probably helped O'Neill.

The report I just heard is that the Dolphins will allow limited fans in the stands for their home opener.

Bill Jandro -> RE: Other NFL News (8/24/2020 4:15:00 PM)

Thomas must be a real piece of crap that Balt is willing to eat 15ml just to get rid of him.

Sounds like Balt is trying to recover 10ml signing bonus claiming "conduct detrimental to the team".

The Vikings should have made MORE of an effort to sign Trent Williams.

Trent Williams should have made more of an effort to sign with the Vikings to placate fans.

JORDAN LOVE
QB, GREEN BAY PACKERS

The Athletic's Matt Schneidman wrote that Jordan Love "has yet to even provide a glimpse at why the Packers traded up to draft him in the first round."
Love was featured in the "Falling Stock" section of the Packers' training camp recap, largely because of his arm. Schneidman writes, "Nobody expected him to take the world by storm in his first nine practices, but every throw he makes seems like a touch pass and he’s had some accuracy issues early on." Love was a highly debated prospect coming out of Utah State for this exact reason. While he made unbelievable plays at times, Love had notable accuracy and interception issues on tape. The Packers likely have two seasons to groom Love with Aaron Rodgers' contract essentially preventing him from leaving before that, but it appears they have their work cut out with development. Love's raw tools are what made the Packers trade up for him in the later portion of the 2020 first round.

Poor Packers. They thought that history would be repeated. Looks like it's not happening.

The Packers needed to draft a wide receiver in what was arguably the best receiver draft in years. They didn't and if I'm not mistaken they lost one of their better receivers to injury for the season. I was curious who else could catch Rodgers passes this season and I found this article.

A receiver would've been a better choice for them. Aaron is not going to be a miserable player this season. And that's okay.

Lynn G. -> RE: Other NFL News (8/27/2020 11:22:36 AM)

Knowing the luck of the Packers, Love will have some kind of "Come to Lombardi" moment and will suddenly gain superhuman skills and be the best quarterback of all time. They lucked into Aaron Rodgers. It could happen again.

True. They are a pretty lucky bunch. What is your new book about, Lynn? I purchased one of your children's books when my youngest was a toddler. He's 12 now!

They're due for another big recession. Like when they only made the Playoffs twice in the 25 years from the late 60s to early 90s.

All the protesters over the Jacob Blake shooting should watch this video.

How about protesting Black on Black crime. IMO it would do a lot more good.
