Remember when we used to single up Anthony Barr on Cooper Kupp?

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (1/18/2022 5:51:36 AM)

Ricky, it's because I wanted what I perceived to be the tougher road for GB, in hopes they would get eliminated.

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (1/18/2022 8:34:26 AM)

The Packers may only need to face an injured Jimmy Garapollo, and Matt Stafford to make it to the Super Bowl.

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (1/18/2022 8:35:39 AM)

For the Rams to win the SB, they might have to face Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes.

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (1/22/2022 8:41:34 PM)

Close game with SF and GB.

GB up by 7, SF on the march, it was looking like SF would run the ball in to tie the game, about the only thing that would stop them, would be a holding call, and that's just what happened.

Then GB benefits from the holding call, by getting an INT. Thankfully GB didn't get any points after that.

Chris Olson -> RE: Other NFL News (1/22/2022 10:15:45 PM)

just want to say, "Eff Green Bay!"

no matter how bad SF played through much of that game, it was so satisfying to see GB lose to make them one and done in the playoffs

so no matter how awesome they think their QB and team is, they still come away thinking their season is as disappointing as our was

ha!

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (1/22/2022 10:20:05 PM)

Yes, the arrogant team of entitlement went down .

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (1/22/2022 10:32:53 PM)

Rodgers could end up playing for the Titans next year.

Or maybe Pittsburgh or Philadelphia.

Probably not SF, unless they get shellacked next week.

Or the Vikings

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (1/22/2022 10:45:49 PM)

I never considered that, can't imagine them letting him go to a divisional rival.

Such high hopes.

Bill Johanesen -> RE: Other NFL News (1/22/2022 11:30:12 PM)

In a Marty-esque sense, I think Rodgers purposely lost so that he can bask in endless months of media attention.

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (1/23/2022 12:11:29 AM)

Rodgers is an attention whore, and didn't need to lose to get media attention.

If the 49ers get a ring, they may have to beat Dak, Rodgers, Brady and Mahomes. That would be impressive.

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (1/23/2022 12:24:07 AM)

Ricky, I wouldn't want Rodgers in Minnesota next year.

Besides the Packer stench, he is getting old, could retire tomorrow.

I would roll the dice and trade for Deshaun Watson. A few years ago, I recommend trading for Jimmy G, when it appeared he was the only QB available. There isn't usually much available for QBs, usually there's a flaw if they're available.

Bill Jandro -> RE: Other NFL News (1/23/2022 8:47:49 AM)

Son of a...last play i remember was SF turning it over on downs at the GB 11 with about 8 mins left.

Woke back up later and just assumed SF lost. Snoooze you lose I guess.

Daniel Lee Young -> RE: Other NFL News (1/23/2022 8:55:39 AM)

I gave up after watching SF get 4 consecutive 3- out and SF receivers catch like the football was both greased up and on fire..

Was pretty impressed with SF except for coverage on Adams..

But the Puke had a lead at home in a divisional game..

Figured the writing was on the joe suck wall…

Very happy when I woke up….

Go Bills!!

I hear ya, Marty - I'm just glad the 'Boys and the Packers are out, and early, too!

But they'd get Kirk <wink>

My son streamed the winning FG - great stuff!!!

After all the kicking shit we've been through I've never been more jealous over kickers as I was yesterday.

Bengals kicker called his shot!

Todd M -> RE: Other NFL News (1/23/2022 9:46:04 AM)

Bills vs Bengals would be great.

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (1/23/2022 10:07:12 AM)

It's entirely possible both Rodgers and Cousins are traded this off-season, and the winner of the division has a 3-14 record.

Is that mathematically possible?

x2

Would love that.....

I would love for Diggs to win it. I am a Vikings fan who is not mad at Diggs wanting out (wanting to win). He recognized our toxic culture with Rick and Mike, and as soon as they extended Kirk (prolonging that trio into the future)... he knew it was time to get out.

The guy cares about winning, period. That part is clear. And I hope he gets a ring.

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (1/23/2022 2:20:21 PM)

I don't know Ricky. I was wondering what the worst division winning record could be.

If all 4 teams in the division got 1 win from each team, and then lost all of their games outside the division, there would be a 4 way tie of 3-14 teams. The tiebreaker would come to points against each other ?
