One of the most overused expressions in political discussions is the "both sides do it" thing. As if every mis-step or infraction carries equal weight just because it is a mis-step or infraction. Yep - Bill Clinton had extramarital affairs and paid a big price for it. They began impeachment hearings to nail him for Whitewater, but when they couldn't find anything on that they switched to his sexual proclivities. Fair enough and not only did he get impeached, he was criticized up and down both sides of the aisle and 30 years later is still labeled as a cheater. But even pretending to compare what Trump has done to what Biden has done is beyond absurd. On the one side is a guy who is a serial adulterer, who cheated on all three wives, virtually abandoned his children, paid off hookers to keep them quiet, bragged about sexually abusing women, and regularly disparages women in his words and deeds. On the other side is a guy who was faithful to his first wife who died in a car crash, adores his second wife and by all accounts is wonderful husband and father, but who gives too many hugs and gets into people's personal spaces. Just quit with the conflation of these two men. I have said multiple times that I would NEVER leave my granddaughters in the same room with Donald Trump, but I would have no qualms about that with Joe Biden. There is no comparison.

"I have no idea if these two young men are guilty of anything - but just as a general statement: As many high profile figures throughout the entertainment/political/sports industries who have been charged and jailed for these types of crimes - how thick headed do men still have to be to commit a crime that gets them into that much trouble? I know they tend to be led around by one specific body part, but if you can't find a willing partner - pay for it, or you and your families will be paying for it for the rest of your life."

Does anybody know why Gable Steveson is not wrestling for the Gophers at this time. I have tried searching Google and can find nothing. There was some sexual allegation regarding him a while ago, but I thought he was completely cleared of that.

Still being investigated by Hennepin county and remains suspended from Gophers until it is resolved. In the mean time, he has qualified for the 2020 U.S. Olympic trials.

Former No. 1 wrestling recruit Greg Kerkvliet to transfer from Ohio State Phil Harrison November 1, 2019 The Ohio State wrestling team may have lost a big piece of its future. According to a report from Eleven Warriors, former No. 1 overall recruit Greg Kerkvliet has entered the transfer portal and will look to move on from the program. It is not known which direction he is leaning, but it was confirmed to the Ohio State fan site earlier Friday. He has yet to even step onto the mat in Columbus. This is a decent blow for a program that’s still reeling from former Buckeye heavyweight, Olympic, and World Champion Kyle Snyder’s decision to move his training to Happy Valley. In fact, the two decisions may be linked. It was widely considered a selling factor for Kerkvliet when he changed his commitment from his home state University of Minnesota, to Oklahoma State to Ohio State. These are certainly not the types of things the program wants to be dealing with. Not only has it opened some of the best facilities in the world as of late, it’s also set to open the season in East Lansing for the Michigan State Open Saturday. If anymore news becomes available with this story, we’ll be on top of it. This was nearly a month ago, but I haven't found an update.

Since Husky Hockey is a lost cause now I will bring up Husky Wrestling. Every bit as dominant as Penn State wrestling in their division 2. 4 titles and one runner up in the last 5 years. 4titles and 4 runners up in the last ten. Started the season ranked #2 because the rankers were tired of ranking them #1. So they beat that #1 ranked Pitt Johnstown team 31-6 to start the season and ranked #1 again.
