So this means Gable is reinstated? Gophers can sure use him, but with him we are at best about 10th in the nation. Don't know if the Gophers will ever recapture our greatness when most of our best HS wrestlers are going to Penn State and winning multiple national championships for them.

Minnesota loses to Michigan 22-15 as Steveson doesn't wrestle and our substitute gets pinned by #2 ranked Hwt Mason Paris. I would really like to know why Steveson wasn't wrestling this match.

MN outside of Stevenson is the JV compared to Iowa....they are stacked. Heard the Gophers had 1 takedown all match. That is dominate.

Steveson. Only one N in the name. Yes we are middle of the pack big10. OSU, Iowa and others superior.

Steveson wins the big 10 again. 12-4 decision over the #2 ranked HW in the Nation Mason Parris from Michigan.

Steveson finally gets his NCAA championship. Lost by one point his freshman year. Last year championships cancelled by COVID. He dominated it this year. He gave up one takedown on the season and his closest match was 8-4 in the NCAA finals.

The Hodge Trophy wrestling's version of the Heisman had co winners. Spencer Lee three time national champ at 125 from Iowa and Gable Steveson at 285 from Minnesota. Both wrestlers so dominant that sharing the award was the right decision.

Gable is one win at the US Olympic Trials away from being America's Hvywt rep. He beat fellow Minnesotan Greg Kerkvliet 11-0 in the Semifinals
