ORIGINAL: mikegreitzer http://vikings61.com/vikings-making-a-dangerous-bet-on-dan-bailey/ A good kicker will likely become available just before the season starts. If Bailey continues in the mid-70% range, I'd take the best one I can get that has been signed to a practice squad. That's how the Chiefs got Harrison Butker, who's one of the best. bailey is only 31 and he was one of the better kickers a few years back...how did he lose it so early?...anyway, i agree with this - we keep our eyes on the teams where there's a real competition.... Seems like he's never fully recovered from that 2017 groin injury. Arif Hasan@ArifHasanNFL Dan Bailey thus far today: 3-for-6, with at least one of those misses on a bobbled hold. That's Rick Danmeier territory. Only Danmeier highlight I can remember was a great onside kick after he shanked an extra point to tie a game. San Diego I think.
