Why would you want to be such a jerk to make the insinuation that you did? However, the idea is great. If you get all excited to watch victory formation and the kneel down good for you I guess. I don't really think many fans find that to be an exciting play so as a fan in a non-partisan fashion I would love taking the kneel down away from the team in the lead. The excitement is the part of the game that is exciting, up until the point where the outcome is no longer in doubt. I don't understand the need to artificially inject excitement into a game that has already been decided. From what I've seen at the games, 90% of the fan base already can't get up for the current level of excitement. Not artificial at all. Just a rule to take away the most boring/non-play in the game. The clock used to stop on every out of bounds play. They changed it to just the last 5 minutes.

In the Denver Post today, an article about how Broncos could have been the Vikings if they had been able to sign Cousins vs Keenum. Denver having an Elite defense, suspect line, good RBs and skilled WRs (at the time of signing). For all the angst in Vikings land, it's been nice to have a relevant team the last few years.

John Elway sucks as a GM. I recall hearing some NFL guys on the radio talk about all his failed drafts, not just at the QB level.

His jersey sales say otherwise. i have no problem with kaepernick, but a lot of people do - and that's the nfl's problem with it.... when i was a teenager i refused to stand for the anthem in protest of the vietnam war....

I'm grateful that the Vikings sent no representatives to Kaepernick's workout. It's another reason to love my team right now. That's all I'll say. Big game for the Gophers. I have a bad feeling about it, but if they prevail I will tip my hat off to the coaching staff. It would be natural to have a let down today after what happened last Saturday, but great coaches can prepare the team for each big game. We shall see what happens.
