I think he exploded through holes but he missed a lot of holes that were there due to mostly being such an impatient runner.

Watching Case (with the skins) play the bears. One throw just a beautiful anticipation throw down the seam. Next throw just a terrible decision into double coverage. Takes so much to be an elite QB... any area that's lacking ends up killing you. {edit} Trubisquit stinks... bears picked the wrong dude. {edit edit} AP a shell of his former self.

I've had a chance to watch the game a few times now, the offensive line is making solid progress and the TE's are really doing a good job in the run game. I know people here seem to be down on Rudolph, but he really is blocking the best I have seen since he's been here. Smith is also a willing blocker and really gets after it when he's in position. There is room for improvement, in all areas of the offense, but this was a game the offense needed to have to get last weeks bad taste out of their mouths. The team started out strong and stayed that way until the game had been decided. I have never been to a game in the new stadium, but it must be awesome in there. We go to Chicago now, never a good thing, but the one thing to take note of, the last two times we won there, was 2015 and 2017, so maybe we are doing the odd year thing and 2019 will be another win!!! This team does seem to have better records in odd years, not sure why that is, we shall see! Skol Vikings

But not as fast as Robert Smith or Moss Smith and Moss just unbelievably fast. We were so spoiled to have them. Cook is way faster on the football field than his 40 yard sprint time. Peterson very fast too and can flat out truck the defender. We've had some great ones.

I posted a few weeks back that Cook reminded me "a bit" of Smith with how fast he hit and was through the hole. It got turned into something it was not. Cook though is lot more elusive. Don't you mean "swarthy"? I think Cook is definitely faster to and through the holes than Smith. Also I'm pretty sure we are no longer surprised to see end of the week "top speed attained" results attributed to one or more of Cooks runs, more than just the first 5 to 10 yards. Loving Cook, but for speed to or through or to the house not in Robert Smith's class. With Smith if you blinked you would never find him again.

What is the value of team chemistry, years in the community, as well as seasoned veteran on the field. What does he bring to the TE room as far as teaching the young guys. David Morgan is not playing, both the other guys are young, I'm sure his presence in the meeting room and on the field are paying dividends in both Conklin and Smith's growth. What the value is, I just don't know. Cousins seems to be developing a strong relationship with him, and we know that everything we can do to make Cousins feel better, the better off the team is. I sure did love watching the Waller kid playing for Oakland, man he is going to be a stud in this league if he stays healthy.

And only connected for 4 TDs last year (with 1 being a hail mary). The one area that Kyle should bring value, the red zone, he isn't. It's great he gives back to the community, I don't think that enters into contract negotiations, or Tebow would still be playing QB for the Broncos. Development & Chemistry? I hope the coaches are able to do the former. Best thing for Chemistry? Winning. I don't think he's worth losing a guy like Mac and/or Harris over. I do appreciate your input/insight!
