I don't see Osborne as a lock, he doesn't even look that great as a return guy. They can keep Abdullah for that. I posted some of the Quartney Davis highlights yesterday, it seems he might have a good shot.

But, I am not all that impressed with Osborn(just looking at highlights).

They should have taken Tyler Johnson at 155 instead of trading out of the pick and traded out of the pick they used on Osborn. There are so many ways to scare up a punt returner. It's like using draft picks on a punter.

It's hilarious that the people defending the move are framing it as ... the Packers are sending Aaron Rodgers a message. What message? I hate the asshole, but he completed 62% of his passes for 26 TD and only 4 int and led his team to the NFC title game. I think the only message they sent him is that they don't know what the f*** they are doing.

Yahoo Sports did a poll among 120 college coaches on who they though were the steals of the draft. Described as straight-up talent analysis from those who studied film and across the sideline. Baylor defensive tackle James Lynch won the award for the most effusive praise among Power 5 coaches. A couple coaches used J.J Watt's as a comparison. One comment, " He was the toughest pure football player we saw all year. Not saying he will be this good, but he reminds me of a J.J. Watt-type player. He played with that type of motor and toughness. Just seemed like he loved everything about playing football.

Good post on CHI. Who would you rather have Dalton or Foles (taking out cost)? Dalton is much more consistent but Foles has the chops getting hot to win a SB and lead the eagles to the playoffs in 18. I think with the team's defense I'd go with Dalton.

Whenever Love is ready they will move on from Rodgers via trade or some other avenue. That's what they did with Favre and I believe they will follow the same blueprint.

It really can't be overstated how devastating that move was for the Bears. Bears gave up their (very high) 3rd and 4th round picks as well as their 3rd round pick the next year to move up 1 spot from 3 to 2 to take Trubisky. Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes went 10th and Deshaun Watson went 12th... Those 3 picks they gave up? 2017 3rd round: Alvin Kamara 2017 4th round: Tedric Thompson (part time starter at safety for Seattle) 2018 3rd round: Fred Warner (2 year starting LBer for the 49ers)

I think we gave Clarke a $100K signing bonus. I see Dorn at #75 and Higby at #131.

The WR draft was really deep is what we were hearing and I guess that is confirmation.
