I hadn't thought of Udoh playing LG, but Ludford suggests it.

Took your advice and went to Ludford's twitter. Really good stuff.

I was beaten back a bit for penciling in Udoh at G. It was based on drafting a T then taking the leap to get his talent out there. The suggestion is he could dominate a LG.

I would be more concerned with Samia than Udoh. Unless he(Samia) got a lot stronger this off season.

The Vikings must have their fingers on the pulse of their players during the off-season and a sense for how they are developing. I would hope so, at least.

I've made some friends there at Twitter, but also enemies including a writer associated with the U of M. She took umbrage with what I thought was a rather harmless comment. Nothing beats this place when it is active, but that is an if sometimes.

Sometimes they don't like it when you make comments about their ass. Go figure. [&:]

I went back and watched some Bears/Vikings week 17 where Udoh and Samia played quite a bit.

The things that jumped out at me:
1) Udoh has the strength to play. He played LT and was matched up against Khalil Mack and held his own. On running plays he gets push. Goalline he plowed a path and the RB followed him right into the endzone.
In pass pro, his footwork is sketchy.

2) Samia was getting pushed around a bit. Would win occasionally but had a much harder time moving his man.

3) Elflein was just getting manhandled. Don't think he has the strength to play guard.

My wife is pretty good at sewing and she is making by hand face masks. Many of her fellow employees at Walmart are coming to her and she makes them for them at no cost. She also gives them away to certain elderly customers whom she has compassion for .

I've told her not to bother making one for me, but she is insisting. She had a big smile on her face as she was explaining that I have to accept it from her. Get this. She bought material for her project and it will be a Vikings face mask! I had to laugh. I will be the envy of everyone at work.

And he’s a coach on the field. Dude is on his own level on the field. He’s half the reason I want to see the games in person. Watching him prior to the snap is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen.

That's a great lady, my friend. Wear the Vikings face mask with pride. I've already lost two of my clients to this stupid virus, so everyone please be careful out there.

Most games in 2019 in which offensive line surrendered one sack or less. Something to think about. However, I bet those five games where more than one sack was allowed were mostly, if not all losses.

1. Minnesota Vikings (11)
t2. Kansas City Chiefs (10)
t2. Dallas Cowboys (10)
t2. Baltimore Ravens (10)
t2. New Orleans Saints (10)
6. Los Angeles Rams (9)

(Dustin Baker on Twitter)

The teams tied for second had a more mobile QB. (For the Saints I'm thinking Teddy.)

Very interesting. We still consider our O line to be very poor, but some of the stats conflict with that narrative. The more mobile a QB is the more they tend to get sacked is the way it usually is.

The question is whether Odenigbo will be ready to be a solid starter this season. I say yes- that we don't need to draft in the first round a starting edge rusher. I would like to see Anthony Barr being given more opportunities to rush the passer too. I know that we say that every year, but I have a hunch that this season it will happen.

How is the NFL draft an item of concern or interest to anyone in lieu of where we are with our socio-economic and health situation in its current state. We may very well be in line for a depression even greater than that of the 1930's and the NFL draft is even worth mentioning?
