Kirk has had a couple bad QBR rankings weeks in a row...but he will end up right around 10. No.. he won’t…. He won’t because his coach and his inability to think outside the first option on a given play, his inability to audible out of an obvious bad play such as run plays into a stacked run blitz box, his inability to see receivers running WIDE open, while he quick throws the check down.. He is the definition of mediocrity.. not “Top Ten”…

There are already 14 QBR that are better outright, than cousins.. and I suppose it is always possible his rating will jump up while at least 4 of them drop… But IMO it’s more likely his drops more against our last three opponents… Hope he proves me wrong.. but betting on Vikings to win 3 straight then , win a playoff game, would turn your family farm into the biggest corporate farm in America, if you want to place that bet in Vegas..

I'm willing to roll the dice until we come up with a mix that gives us a dominate team that has a chance at home field advantage, not a team trying to sneak into a #7 seed wildcard team.

. . Rose was reinstated from the Vikings' practice squad COVID-list and cut by the team Tuesday. The 24-year-old was signed to the Vikings' practice squad in early September but failed to crack the active roster before being let go Tuesday. Rose will now look to find a new team in need of depth at running back, while he's still waiting to make his NFL debut.

I've defended both guys but they have had enough time to get us over the hump. Time to move on. If Cousins had a cap number in the low 20s, you probably keep him around for the last year. Zimmer had 8 years. He had some good years but we need some new direction.
