I'm not impressed with our announcers. Considering LaHomer is apparently A-team, I shouldn't be surprised. Give me something. This is like the ol' Dick n Bert days.

Why isn't Mike Greenlay still doing color commentary? He was pretty good. Gigi Marvin isn't bringing anything. Are any of the other color commentators better? I'd say put Gorg up there.

Greenlay sucks. The only thing he brings to the table is making Lapanta sound almost intelligent.

And that one was enough for me last night. They just didn't have it last night and were losing every race to the puck and even when they did get to the puck first they lost it right away. It seems we have a tendency to play poorly on first game back from a road trip.

Dubn...er...Talbot is killing us with soft goals. He just seems to lose his angles and creates a space for the shooter. He is also dropping to the ice way too soon. As a result, he gives up a lot of long range goals.

As Jeff pointed out, the aggravating thing is that he can seem to turn into the second coming of Tony Esposito after he puts is in a hole. Last night he was like so many Twins starting pitchers. Give the other guys the lead. The offense scores and he gives it right back.

I solved the problem through...let's just say...other means.

Yeah, Greenlay was horrible. Was thrilled when they got rid of him. Martin seemed very nervous and I don't blame her but lets be honest. She's pretty dry even during the pregame stuff she does. She's a lot like Walz. Very knowledgeable about the game but doesn't have the right personality.


Personally, I like Carter. He's a natural fit on the mic. He has the knowledge and is just funny by default.

Half the time I stream the games with the mute on, but I will say when I do listen I like Carter the best as well.
Losing Greenlay was the typical addition by subtraction no matter who filled his slot.

I missed the first 2 periods, but the third has been fun. Started out 3-0 and now 7-2 good guys.

Not sure if moving him to 3rd line was a wake up call or just to get the thugs off of him....no matter good move Evason.

After the dismal performance from the entire team on Tuesday the line shakeup had to happen. Not just for KK, but for the entire team.
Personally, I would like to see the GREEF line back together for good. They are beasts when together and the way they play gets the other guys going.
