I must have been thinking about the first goal.
Yeah, the 2nd one Dumba was trying to pick up his stick it looked like....and was out of position to boot.

With Dumba we have to take the bad with the good. He is guaranteed to make at least 2 bone-headed mistakes a game if not more, but he does have the skill to push the play. Problem is, when he tries to push the play is when it can backfire and end up leaving Talbot to cover for him.

I hate shootouts. Feels disrespectful to the game. I would rather call it a tie or go down to 3 vs 3 and that includes the goalie.

Trying to help but couldn’t get out of his own way.

I can live with the shootout. I just think they should do away with the point for OT losses. Just go straight win loss. Teams will be motivated to finish it in regulation if they can't play for OT to at least get a point.

Now 5-0 after 2 periods of play. Looking good and the Jets are now going for the cheap shots since they are out of the game.

7-1 final. The only bummer is no shutout and Zuccarello may have an injured hand/wrist from one of the many hacks that the Jets were allowed to get away with.

Hockey in person might be the most beautiful sport. Violent and elegant all at the same time.

I agree, it's so much better when you can see the whole rink and watch plays develop at such a high speed.
Those athletes out there on the ice are so skilled it's amazing to watch them.

Yup, one of the dirtiest teams in the league.
Kyle Conner should be getting suspended for 10 games and fined $10,000 for leaving the bench to join in on a scrum.
Of course the clueless refs missed that along with numerous hacks and interference penalties since, well, they are from Canada after all and Bettman allows it for them..... [X(]

Zuccarello out today, so Pitlick gets a chance to play with KK on the first line this afternoon.
Rask takes his spot with Gaudreau and Fiala....no other changes from Friday.

Another great win today. Only issue I have was Dumba’s dumbass stat padding hero hockey with the empty net. We had a line that was on the ice for over 2 minutes and he goes for the home run from behind the net 🤬

Dumba had his usual Dumbo plays that we have come to expect, but at least they didn't cost us too badly.
This team seems to be better than I was expecting this year and even if things level off some, they sure are fun to watch.
