On one hand, it's a little frustrating watching Poles choose Chicago over the Vikes, Ryans bow out of the running, Jacksonville sign Pederson and then to see us bring in Harbaugh, only to reject him. I'm questioning a little how great a gig this is as viewed from outside our cheer section. On the other I'm kind of excited to see what KAM and KO can do to repair our culture and get us back into modern football. Assuming KFC is still here, maybe, just maybe, this infusion of youthful creativity can inspire Kirk to be a little less risk adverse and a little more patient waiting on developing routes to really get our mojo flowing next year. I'm also looking forward to a competent or at least intriguing back-up QB, whether that's Mond, a draft pick or a veteran QB not named Mannion. In any case, I hope we get a good mix of motivators, player developers and Xs and Os folks to round out the staff. I'd love a couple years of Fangio or Phillips to train up some younger assistants, but maybe those youngins are already ready.
