Wan'Dale went early

bstinger -> RE: 2022 NFL draft (4/29/2022 7:04:50 PM)

Want next pick to be WR, then C.

not sure of numbers

IDK man. Feels like we've done all this moving around to change a 6th into a 4th and swap up in the 3rd.

I'm good with those numbers.

it was 77 we gave them and not 66

well I love Booth, but I've been a little wary of this injury issue...

but he is a first round talent for sure!

We have to trust the Vikings judgment regarding his health.

5-5 as a freshman, grew 8 inches as a sophomore and clocks in @6 foot and 190. Was a rough Jr and Sr years 😳

Power cleans and deadlifts will help him get stronger.

The 3rd round pick was 77, so we kept 66.

Tom Sykes -> RE: 2022 NFL draft (4/29/2022 7:07:30 PM)

The Colts trade: Pick 42-2nd, 122-4th

The Vikings trade: 53-2nd, 77-3rd, 192-6th

Check their math. Dude shrank 3 inches between his sophomore year and tonight!

kgdabom -> RE: 2022 NFL draft (4/29/2022 7:11:29 PM)

Ouch Ojabo just went.

Tom Sykes -> RE: 2022 NFL draft (4/29/2022 7:13:58 PM)

I really think we had to take a chance on Booth. Risky the way we went about it.

The bottomline is ... we gave up a higher draft pick in the first ... but

added a 2nd rd pick

moved up in 3rd rd.

added a 4th rd pick.

We can quibble over the who we pick but I think Kwesi is starting to learn on the job.

We lost the 6th on Rich Hill's chart.

Bill Johanesen -> RE: 2022 NFL draft (4/29/2022 7:17:37 PM)

Half way through the second round and we've picked twice.

Booth and his injuries are tailor made for Kwesi.

Its weird ... I'm surprised we took Cine with a clean bill.

Maybe he has a Total Recall 'Quatto' thing growing out of stomach that nobody knows about.

beo -> RE: 2022 NFL draft (4/29/2022 7:24:42 PM)

So we went from
a 1st, 2nd, a 3rd and NO 4th
to
a 1st, 2 2nds, a 3rd and a 4th

If picks pan out... I'd have to say despite my misgivings it might just work out

Really depends on how good Willams and Watson do for me...

With another pick in the 2nd to go.... MAYBE!

Except we didn't pick at 12.

And GB picks a very good WR 😒

A WR who dropped 16 out of 120 catchable balls thrown to him at NDSU. No thanks.

Doesn't bother me in the least. He's a bit raw, but productive and has all the tools. Also sounds like his problem was concentration drops and not a hands issue at all.

And he appears to be working hard on it: However, Watson is showing improvement, bettering his drop rate from an abysmal 28 percent in 2020 to a still less-than-ideal 10 percent in 2021.

Fair enough. No one is a finished product, but it's also not a no brainer. I like the value Kwesi has created.

So we've made the average amount of picks so far. We've got another second so we will be above average in the second round. Average in the 3rd, We got a 4th back so average in the 4th.
