Are we 100% certain Kaprizov is in the US? I've heard that he hasn't been photographed in a couple months.

He was a 1st round draft pick and scored tons of goals in the juniors so who knows, maybe he can break out with a new team like Hartman has.....we can hope.

Sounds like Merill and Greenway will miss the beginning of the season. Greenway needed a 2nd surgery on his shoulder. Merrill needed surgery after the World Championships.

Guerin felt the #mnwild had one too many defenseman, says Addison must still push to make the team and this gives #mnwild flexibility capwise to make trade either before camp or in season if they’re in need of external improvement

Guerin thanks Kulikov, who had a solid regular season for the #mnwild. Had a nightmarish Game 1 of the playoffs and was scratched four games til final game. So it’s clear he was coming in this season on unsteady ground

I wouldn't describe Kulikov's regular season as solid. He started off playing solid, but went decidedly downhill in the second half.

I like this move. Gaining some cap space and opening up a spot on our 3rd pair for Addison. We have plenty of good defensemen so Kulikov won't be missed much at all.

He maybe better but another small Defenseman.

Yeap. With nothing better than "ok" goaltending this season, I think this was a bad move. We need guys that can keep the crease clean.

Kulikov doesn't do that. After the early season, tried to be a finesse, skating type defenseman.

He's at least over 5 feet tall. That would help.

I'm just not crazy on the fact that it's probably Addison that stays up. Not a need for this team IMO.
