The number 34 didn't seem right. There was too much time between the first team and KP - but I couldn't think of any. If it's double digit (50+), it's a bullshit question

I messed up. There are ten different numbers. They are:

3 - Harmon Killebrew
78 - Simeon Woods Richardson
79 - Gilberto Celestino
80 - Ryan Eades
81 - Jordan Balazovic
82 - Bailey Ober
83 - Griffin Jax
85 - Charlie Barnes
86 - Edwar Colina
90 - Caleb Hamilton

Up until last year 0 was only worn by Junior Ortiz. Billy Hamilton wore 0 in 2022.

It's Ok, Matt. So many high numbers and all very recent. I think retiring numbers is a good idea, but we could be looking at 3A on the back of a Twins uniform in 2080 if this team gets hot after I am dead and gone

The young guys do it for the Twins tonight. Lewis with another grand slam. Wallner homers. Cody Funderburk gets the win in his debut with 2 shutout innings. Winder with the rare 3 inning save.

The Twins have already effectively won the series. For Cleveland to maintain even a sliver of hope they really needed to sweep.

We play five more games in the next week or so against them. two more here three there. IF we can win 4 of them they are buried. which is why we wont.

Now is the chance to put them away for good.

Twins have been very very good at sqandering those kinds of opportunities.

Bring him back up in September. But use him only occasionally out of the bullpen to let him get refreshed but still in shape. He could be a useful reliever by playoff time.
