Ant with a huge shot to close the deal last night. If they can manage to win out, the Wolves should at least hang onto the 6 spot.

Tonight's 4th quarter melt down is the most disgusting thing I've seen in a long time. Simply inexcusable.

David Levine -> RE: Timberwolves 2024/2025 Season (4/8/2025 9:55:43 PM)

When can Malone start?

They went into sleepwalk mode, just waiting for the game to end. What could go wrong?

Elliot -> RE: Timberwolves 2024/2025 Season (4/9/2025 4:43:45 AM)

Episodes like these make it really difficult to get emotionally invested in this team.

Bill Jandro -> RE: Timberwolves 2024/2025 Season (4/9/2025 7:09:14 AM)

This team is going nowhere even if they even survive the play in.

twinsfan -> RE: Timberwolves 2024/2025 Season (4/9/2025 9:36:55 AM)

Wolves die-hards are the most schizophrenic of them all.

Karl Juhnke -> RE: Timberwolves 2024/2025 Season (4/11/2025 11:29:49 AM)

Never doubted them for a second [&:]

Okay, I admit I like everyone else watching that 3rd quarter vs Memphis said this a copy of the Milwaukee game. Hold on, it’s not over yet.

Except this time it was over. They held Memphis off.

ANT was tremendous!!

And Ant gets himself suspended for the Utah game…

That was his dumbest T yet, just when you thought he might be learning something. It was a marginal call, sure. But plays like that happen all the time. It was a relatively meaningless situation. The ref missed a call. So what? You just play on.

Edwards let his team down.

David Levine -> RE: Timberwolves 2024/2025 Season (4/12/2025 8:37:09 AM)

He probably doesn’t get the tech if he isn’t jawing with the refs on a handful of plays leading up to it.

David Levine -> RE: Timberwolves 2024/2025 Season (4/12/2025 3:27:48 PM)

Very surprised.

The NBA announces Anthony Edwards’ technical has been rescinded. He will play tomorrow.

Not sure that's a good thing. Might be better to avoid the risk of getting a 'T' and being suspended for the first playoff game, wherever that may be.

If a player receives his 16th technical foul during the final game of the regular season, his suspension does not carry over into the postseason or the ensuing regular season.

Lesson...not learned.

Steve Lentz -> RE: Timberwolves 2024/2025 Season (4/13/2025 6:41:46 PM)

Ant ends up the leader in 3's this year!

Karl Juhnke -> RE: Timberwolves 2024/2025 Season (4/13/2025 8:31:46 PM)

Wolves finish at #6 and will face #3 Lakers in Round 1.

Good that they avoided play in. Crazy that they finished 1 game out of the #3 spot.

People remember the bad losses lately of course, but my hot take...the Wolves finished 16-4 in their last 20 games. The only losses being 2 to Indiana (including the 'bad' one when IND was down all their starters), a bad loss to NO and the meltdown against Milwaukee. They won every other game, most of them quite easily. Among the wins the epic 2OT win against Denver that started their tailspin that got their coach and GM fired.

I think they're finishing the season about as well equipped for the playoffs as last year. If not better. Even though last year's record was better, their last 20 was 13-7.

Towns will be missed, but Randle gives them toughness and toughness is a valued playoff commodity. Rudy has never been playing better, in a Wolves uniform anyway. DiVincenzo has taken off, and given them quality guard minutes to ease the burden on Conley, who in turn has responded by returning to old form after a rough start to the season.

This team is deeper and better constructed than last year. It just took them a while to figure out what that meant.

Bill Johanesen -> RE: Timberwolves 2024/2025 Season (4/14/2025 9:59:27 AM)

Lakers draw the Wolves, ugh. Edwards might average 50 with team advantages on the perimeter AND inside.

Bill Jandro -> RE: Timberwolves 2024/2025 Season (4/14/2025 1:17:15 PM)

I'm a little bit more than worried about playing the Lakers.

1. Will Finch hunt Luka on the offensive end unlike last year.

2. Can we keep Luka in check on defense unlike last year.

3. Will the NBA lets us advance? The Lakers averaged 5 more free throws per contest than their opponents this season. I'll be keeping my eye on this disparity this series.

If there’s any hint the refs are favoring the Lakers, Edwards will lose his mind. That is a real concern.

TJSweens -> RE: Timberwolves 2024/2025 Season (4/19/2025 10:07:08 PM)

Luka Garza enters the game and the human victory cigar is lit.

Bill Jandro -> RE: Timberwolves 2024/2025 Season (4/20/2025 7:46:52 AM)

Despite an -11 foul disparity

That proved not to be the case. There was a definite disparity in fouls and Ant kept his cool. The Lakers didn't pick up theirs first foul until late in the second quarter.
