Turner might've been the best player on the field. 2 tackles, 1 sack, 1 FF, SEVEN QB hits and even his penalty netted us 3 points thanks to bad coaching by GB. He is so strong, fast and explosive. He was absolutely everywhere. Pierre was our best CB. 4 Tackles, 1 INT, 2 PDs. Showed a knack for being around the ball. The middle of our defense is a major concern. If we don't get pressure, its wide open on every play. Our ILBs and Safeties can not cover at all. Love was feasting on it until we started Teeing Off on him. He loses accuracy badly when he starts taking hits. Not every QB we face will be the same. Max Bredeson was really good after a shaky first quarter. He was just blowing guys up. Was a major factor in short run situations & goal line scoring drives. Dude is special. Great draft pick. ST coaching continues to be a problem. Reichard and Price paper over some of it. Murray looked really bad before he got knocked out. That first pass was inexcusable. JJ bailed him out on another. The play he got hurt was a dirty hit, but Kyler was also really late going down. Wentz looked like a guy that needed to shake off the rust - and by the 4th quarter, he did. I can't stress how happy it is that he burned the Packers with an "Aaron Rodgers Special". He goes through his reads like a Pro, but that said, he has cement feet and a tendency to double clutch the ball. I don't seem him lasting the full season. Brandle was OK at C. Fries was a disaster. Running game did not look much improved. Playcalling was standard KOC. Not imaginative, predictable and we were snapping the ball at 1 second far too often. I will give KOC credit for not abandoning the running game. Packers are a very mediocre team that we made look good for 2.5 quarters. Bears will be a much tougher challenge.
