You can do it!

Lars -> RE: Vikes water cooler thread (2/14/2017 7:45:45 AM)

In whatever way we can, please know that we all will be pulling for you, and can't wait to hear your story of triumph as you make it through your journey.

Take care Dan!

Lynn G. -> RE: Vikes water cooler thread (2/14/2017 9:35:09 AM)

I think it's important to remind you how you fought hard to come back from a horrific set of injuries a few years ago Dan, and you have worked hard to modulate the highs and lows you have endured in the past. Against all odds you forged a new life and brought into the world a beautiful little girl who is being shaped by everything that happens around her. I hope that whatever you are going through now you are getting help from people who are trained to be guides and counselors.

Phil Riewer -> RE: Vikes water cooler thread (2/14/2017 9:54:36 AM)

Keep the good fight going Dan!!!

kevinemmer -> RE: Vikes water cooler thread (2/14/2017 12:48:13 PM)

Hang in there Dan!

We're all here pulling for you, best wishes to you as you choose your path(s).

If you examine the motivations you have behind choices, that can help your inner compass know which choice is more "right" for you.

Good luck, buddy.

bohumm -> RE: Vikes water cooler thread (2/14/2017 7:58:51 PM)

One day, one hour, one minute, one moment, one heartbeat at a time, friend.

Thomas O. Eliason -> RE: Vikes water cooler thread (2/15/2017 2:22:12 AM)

Even though I know you would spit on me in passing, I wish you well Dan.

I can recognize a formidable opponent when I see one, and like Captain Kirk I am willing to acknowledge that weird kind of relationship.

So here's to you, my capable adversary. May you defeat whatever villain you may currently face, if only so that we may spar again.

For I am most certainly the more formidable foe, than any you have previously faced. Or, are likely to face in the future.

Know that, when you face this next foe, for we have battled to a dead straight draw. (giving you the benefit of the doubt as one would, any true Vikings fan)

All of which means there are literally no obstacles you cannot overcome. For you have faced my onslaught unflinchingly.

Without a doubt, that is significant. Yes, I am insane.

T.o.e

We disagree on many thing politically and scientifically, even some measures of philosophy..

We both bleed purple. And despite things like WTC and the Kennedy thing we do share some common ground in that arena...

There is no doubt in my mind, and I never dreamed I would live to see that idiot surpassed, but the T-Rump is , after less than a month, more incompetent and clueless and a danger to rational Americans than GWB.... and GWB got the USA firmly entrenched in an unwinnable WOT....

It is embarrassing to have to admit this mouse prick is our president and commander in chief...

I did not even get to cast a vote due to circumstances beyond my control, but I damn sure will sign and pimp any effort to impeach his sorry ass just for being monumentally STUPID.

Not sure if luck is appropriate or relevant Dan, but I wish you the best.

Daniel Lee Young -> RE: Vikes water cooler thread (2/15/2017 9:26:45 PM)

I really wish I could be more specific about my issue, but after 2 trips into the professional minefields of "superior judgment and proper procedure " , I am more pissed off and no closer to resolution than I was on December 20th.

I am trapped in a grinder that may take as much as a year to disassemble and toss aside and multiple someone's are most certainly gonna regret trying to stuff me into this farce.

I hope you didn't get robbed like I did.

Last spring at this playground in Edina, somebody swatted a shot so hard the ball went rolling down the hill towards Minnehaha Creek. Of course it made it all the way down into the creek before anybody got to it. The water was high and moving fast. Ball gone. The only other ball at the park was being used by some young kids on a side court. We certainly weren't ready to quit, so I tried to buy the ball from the youngsters. They were wise. $50.00 for a piece of crap ball.

When we finished playing, the youngsters were still hanging around watching. Gave the kid his ball back. Rented a crappy basketball for $50.00 for one hour.

That makes you a hero in my book.

Great story. You and I do a lot of things the same way.
Sorry for you. [:D]

Happy birthday Art!

If you started counting backward at the age of 40 you're probably just about to hit your teens again, right? Nah, just yanking your chain.

Happy day.
