Yup, I agree. I missed the first game where the Isles got blown out, but have seen most of the other games and they have been great games.

I missed the first period tonight, but from what I saw the last 2 periods, Dallas was the better team tonight. Tampa needs to up their pace or it could be a quick final series.

Smothering defense all over the rink, and everyone is bought in, even their whiners.
This is a classic talent vs grit final, even tho Dallas has plenty of talent too.

Man, I thought for sure Dallas was going to get a win. They were putting so much pressure on Tampa, especially in the third, but Tampa just kind of rolled with the tide and shortened up the shifts to keep their skaters fresh. I think the next game comes down to which team avoids bad penalties.

MUCH tighter series than I thought
Its truly a toss up at this point
Talent and length and speed vs grit and grind and purpose

Heres the deal when relating it to "our" team, the Wild ….. truthfully, how many goals does Dubnyk give up last night, for either team?
I say at LEAST 6.
And I say if you don't think so, you're warped.
The stops on some of the point blank stuff last night were incredible.
Find a goalie, Shooter

That 2nd period Tampa definitely left no doubt who the better team was. Towards the end of the period it looked as if Dallas had lost their will out there.
It will be interesting to see if they will mount a come back after the intermission...my guess is they will.

Dallas got their ass beat badly tonight, so the final minutes of the game they get all cheap shot and dirty....just what I expect from them.

This one is over. Tampa was the better team in all phases of the game. The Stars better pick it up!
