Jackson spent his summer playing for Mean Streets out of Illinois in the Nike EYBL circuit. Over the summer he played in 21 games averaging 13.3 points and 5 rebounds per game. You can find his game by game stats for the summer HERE.

Kid can shoot the ball too. Hit 39% of his 3s on 31 attempts over 16 games in the Nike circuit.

His highlight video shows a pretty nice looking stroke.

And just like that, has switched commitment to Missouri.

More good news

Curry out 4-6 weeks after knee surgery.

Mr. Ed -> RE: Gopher Basketball (Mens) (11/7/2018 4:20:59 PM)

Even better news today

win Tuesday night lose Carr to ineligibility today

Thanks NCAA

Jay Bilas is fighting for Carr
Won't hurt.
The NCAA sucks.

TJSweens -> RE: Gopher Basketball (Mens) (11/8/2018 12:02:06 PM)

Did the NCAA give a reason that amounted to anything more than "because we said so"?

I really wonder if they are going to have Little Richie under a microscope because of his dad.

twinsfan -> RE: Gopher Basketball (Mens) (11/12/2018 8:25:40 PM)

Gophers lead 12-9 seven minutes in. Murphy already on the bench with 2 fouls. Some things never change.

twinsfan -> RE: Gopher Basketball (Mens) (11/12/2018 8:48:23 PM)

I'm not a fan of the new flooring so far. Barely recognize The Barn.

TJSweens -> RE: Gopher Basketball (Mens) (11/12/2018 9:12:52 PM)

Just switched over from the Wolves game. Damn that new floor looks sweet.

Pete M. -> RE: Gopher Basketball (Mens) (11/12/2018 10:12:04 PM)

Nice win. If they stay healthy? They're going places.

twinsfan -> RE: Gopher Basketball (Mens) (11/12/2018 10:21:53 PM)

Nice comfortable win. A little worried about McBrayer - looked like he injured his left leg again in the final seconds.

You're wrong.

twinsfan -> RE: Gopher Basketball (Mens) (11/12/2018 10:23:25 PM)

Would be nice to have more depth at guard.

No Brock Stull today. I suspect he'll be a solid piece off the bench later this year.

Phil Riewer -> RE: Gopher Basketball (Mens) (11/13/2018 7:15:49 AM)

Curry back in December and maybe Carr is eligible....could be deep and athletic.

McBrayer and Coffey were cleared late in the summer from injuries so they are both working back from that.

Except that the team wearing white (that would be the Gophers) just blended right in with the floor.

My vote? I can't wait until they recognize their mistake and fix it.

TJSweens -> RE: Gopher Basketball (Mens) (11/13/2018 8:39:19 AM)

That floor is awesome and anyone who doesn't agree with me is stupid. The home team blending in with the floor is sheer genius. Forget the fast break. We're in constant stealth mode.

TJSweens -> RE: Gopher Basketball (Mens) (11/13/2018 9:28:12 AM)

And a very nice game for a couple of local freshmen. Daniel Oturu had 13 pts and 4 blocks and Gabe Kalscheur led the way with 19 points, hitting 5 - 3 pointers.

They were both rocking it on that bad ass new floor.

If your statement is correct than I guess I think the new floor is awesome. [:D]

I just checked the AP Poll. Neither the Gophers or Utah are among the top 52 receiving points in the AP Poll. Utah usually has good teams, but maybe not this year.

Utah is picked to finish 8th in the PAC-12. They are OK.

Lynn G. -> RE: Gopher Basketball (Mens) (11/13/2018 12:59:24 PM)

Maybe TCF Bank should dye the sod maroon so that our football players can be in stealth mode too.

TJSweens -> RE: Gopher Basketball (Mens) (11/13/2018 1:02:45 PM)

Yep. The refs will never know if our guys move early or line up in neutral zone. Hell, we can even sneak an extra player or two on the field. They could even do a George Washington crossing the Delaware formation and pretend to row the boat down the field.

Lynn G. -> RE: Gopher Basketball (Mens) (11/13/2018 1:05:48 PM)

Championship!

twinsfan -> RE: Gopher Basketball (Mens) (11/13/2018 1:08:37 PM)

Well, this thread jumped the shark. Thanks Tim. All because you like the stupid new floor.

It works for Boise State...
