Big game this weekend against SDSU. Their guard, Nate Wolters, is lighting it up again this season......he is a St.Cloud native. SDSU was the only DI program to offer him a scholarship.

Sure wish Tubby would make room for guys like that once in awhile.

Why? Could be 1st pro BB from my HS

Game was last night.....Gophers won rather easily....88-64.....Andre Hollins scores 22. Wolters was out with an ankle injury so the matchup never materialized.

SDSU cannot play without Wolters.

And Jim.....word is that Wolters could be a high round pick in this springs NBA draft.....some speculated 1st round but I really doubt that. He will definitely get a shot to play. And that in itself is pretty cool considering no one wanted him out of HS.

twinsfan -> RE: Gopher Basketball (Mens) (12/8/2012 2:19:47 PM)

On gophersports.com the game tonight is only listed as being on the Pac 12 Network.  Highly doubtful I get that.  I thought maybe it would be on FSN, as I feel like I've seen a lot of Pac 12 late on that channel over the years.  Nope.  Looks like Gophers hockey is on FSN tonight....followed by "TBA" at 10:30.

If anyone knows where the Gophers game can be found on TV or internet tonight, please let me know.  Thanks!

Gametime 9:30.

I know ... I've tried to drag you thru Twins and Gopher west-coast games before .... its hard.

Grandma!

twinsfan -> RE: Gopher Basketball (Mens) (12/8/2012 3:05:22 PM)

Remember that one time I made it to the 3rd period of the Alaska-Anchorage game on a choppy internet connection?  That was impressive.  But we mostly have stupid Alaskan TV commercials to thank for that.

SoMnFan -> RE: Gopher Basketball (Mens) (12/8/2012 3:17:07 PM)

You were a freaking warrior that night ... a warrior, I tell ya. [sm=dwarf.gif]

[&:][&:][&:] Thanks.  Right back at ya dude.

We need more people posting on Gophers sports.  I realize they usually don't give us much to be excited about (thus your excitement about the volleyball run), but for me it's something to get me through fall (football) and winter (hoops and hockey).

I agree with that.

And not to get all sloppy, but I think you really make this a great board Scott.

twinsfan -> RE: Gopher Basketball (Mens) (12/8/2012 5:25:57 PM)

Scott's the best.

And along those lines, congrats on finally passing Skillz in number of total posts (combining your current username with your old one).
