We scored the first goal and then got our ass kicked after that........
I didn't bother watching my recording after seeing the final score of 2-6.

That’s the thing though. I “recorded it” and even though it clearly says men’s hockey it was a damn Michigan basketball game 😡

Yeah I had that too. Fast forward about 10 minutes and I had the game. Didn't watch, but it was there.
I recorded the B10 network on Comcast. It may have been different on your platform.

Jack LaFontaine ups and quits mid-season to sign an NHL contract. I thought it was a dick move when Okposo did it and I think it's a dick move now. Make a commitment to a program for the year and bail.

Huge loss for the Gophers. His play in the net was a big reason for our success. Dang.

But I respect a player's right to do what he believes is best for his career and family. I wish him well.

Yup, and now Moe is playing for Bucky Badger!
I think part of the dick move should also go on the Canes for pushing him to sign and leave his team mid-season. There should be a rule that NHL teams can't touch players they have rights to once a college season has started.

The Gophers win, like usual, on Friday night.
Now they need a sweep at OSU tonight to solidify their ranking in the top 10.
I was surprised to see them at #6 in the pairwise this morning considering they have more splits this year than sweeps.

Gophers get their 4th win in a row for the sweet at OSU.
Moves them up to #5 in the pairwise with 2 weeks to go.
Just need to take care of business the next few weeks without 3 of our top players who helped take care of Germany today to get the bye in the quarter finals.

They flooded the place with cheap tickets for students I think. It helps that it was against Bucky too.
Tonight all they have to do is win and the B10 regular season trophy is theirs along with a bye into the semis for the conference tourney.
I suspect the crowd will be even better tonight. Should be a fun one if they bring their A game and dominate Bucky again.
I noticed last nights win bumped them up to #4 in the pairwise. It appears they are getting hot at the right time.

I agree with the dollar (or something similarly cheap). The school makes money from the sponsors that have ads all over the boards and the tv money - so they should be able to give a break on student's tickets.

For ALL sports, btw.

They finish the weekend sweep by a combined 13-0. Justin Close with back to back shutouts. The kid has come up huge since LaFontaine pulled his dick move.
