I restate what I said earlier. This team is an embarrassing, under-achieving disgrace. The only glimmer of something good as that Haula has played his ass of from start to finish for 3 years. I welcome him to the Wild.

Can we at least point to the fact that it is a very young team to explain this awful game? I'm grabbing at straws, I know, but I want to think there is some normal explanation.

It's hockey. Anything can happen. That's true every game.....but even moreso if the worse team wants it more.

The Sue and Wiscy both struggling as well.
These eastern teams we don't see all year are chippy and scrappy.
That's not a knock. They're out-hustling the better-known programs.

The mighty WCHA goes out like wimpering dogs.
MN doesn't show up for 2 periods, and falls to a far inferior Yale team.
Wisconsin, the WCHAs hottest team ... gets pounded by something called UMass-Lowell 6-1. Pounded.
Denver, a usually tough-as-nails competitior, barely wimpers on the way out of town in a 5-2 drubbing by a bed-and-breakfast called New Haaaampshire.
Even mighty NoDak barely escapes with their lives, eeking out a 2-1 win over an impotent Niagra Falls keg team that forgot to show up in the third.

Impressive boys.
Real impressive.
