Lance is one tough kid. If anyone can handle that type of workload and abuse, he can.

Some may roll their eyes at Fleck and his rah-rah demeanor, but underneath it all, he handles the game like a bonafide coach. He also assembled a staff that has their wits about them and have the freedom and knowledge to do things like this on Autman-Bell's TD: During a timeout, Ciarrocca said the Gophers staff created a new play to try to draw double coverage for Rashod Bateman and Tyler Johnson, the U’s top two receivers. Bateman has led Minnesota with 17 targets this season; Johnson has 11 and Autman-Bell had four up to that point. “We kind of drew the play in the dirt,” Ciarrocca said. “We were trying to do whatever we could to make sure Chris had a one on one and (we were) thinking they were going to double Tyler and Rashod.” Love the ability to adapt, improvise and execute in the clutch. I also love hearing this from our starting QB and leader of the offense when talking about staying poised and finishing the crucial drive: “We just have to go execute,” Morgan said. “… These are the moments you look for. You play college football to play in big-time moments.Why not us? Why not go and do that right now? You want to be in those big-time situations and come out on top. It was elite for us to see that.”

The supposed TD for GSU should have been a touchback ball going to Gophers. I don't know the college replay system, but somebody screwed the pooch.

This coaching staff really makes some dumb ass decisions. Up by 8, under 2 minutes to go, ball on your own 30. 2 passes and 1 run and it's 4th and 1. They actually go for it, don't even get close and they smash it right down and score a TD right at the half. Just dumb at that point and where the ball was. Just punt and make sure you go in by the 8 you already have.

Is it just my perception or do the Gophers tend to blow football games in the most idiotic of ways. A FG to put the game away becomes a blocked FG that almost ties the game? Do other teams do these kind of things as often as we do?

2 point lead. 3rd and 5. Perfect time to punt and have GSU march down the field to kick a FG as time expires. If we lose it will be the Gophers first loss to a sun belt team after 10 wins. As I type this fumble returned for a TD.
