Why does MN have the two dumbest football coaches in PJ and Zimmer. Morgan hasn't developed as a QB at all from his early success.

Wouldn't throwing to the TE and a swing pass once in a while open things up? Morgan is the biggest head scratcher. How can a guy that has line, WR's and collection of backs regress every single year? It makes no sense.

I don't see the WR talent this year but there is TE talent...I do know that Iowa strengths on defense are pass rush and DB/secondary....the problem is that with that explosive running game there isn't a reason they couldn't throw more to the TE or swing passes to the RB to offset the lesser WR Skillset this year.

Some link Morgan's regression to the O Cord going to Penn State but I think Morgan isn't good.....little brother thinks the 4 star on the bench is going to be dynamic. I think we would have won more games with either Kramer or Annexstad starting.

Fleck is another one of those coaches who seems loyal to a fault when it comes to veteran players. Look at the guys who have coached the blue blood programs over the years. They don't hesitate to replace a 2-3 year starting QB when an understudy shows he can do more. Especially when the starter is playing like Morgan.

Glad to be wrong on it. We played really well and overcame the Refs who evened out some later. The Badger QB wasn't very good and that helped a lot. WR #16 needs to be on the field more often. Bucky is a player! Brando was horrible.
