Can't say I liked either team .... But I LOVED the play calling. Down the stretch, still using pitches, throwbacks, etc ..... Love the ingenuity and using it the entire time. Kiffin gets crap, but I love how he built that offense and was never afraid to stick up for himself.

Big Ten fans, take notes. As I have been saying all bowl season, if your conference has no quarterbacks, your defenses will always look better than they really are. Alabama found out the same lesson last night. Perceived Great Defenses in 2016 Michigan gives up 33 L Ohio State gives up 31 L Penn State gives up 52 L Alabama gives up 35 L

Then we have one play from the 1 yard line for all the marbles. I still think Clemson goes for the win though.

I know. In hindsight, they both should have. I agree. With no timeouts, Dabo would have had to make a quick decision on what to do next from the 1-yard line and one second remaining. I would have forced his hand and sold out on the quarterback.
