It's BS about the QB thing. I realize that's what they're pushing but they highlighted all year that an unbeaten Power 5 champ was/is a lock. Until it wasn't.....

I laugh at the 'this won't happen again because next year we go to six teams' crap. Yeah, until undefeated #7 and #8 are left out as well as a host of other scenarios. One day there will be a 24 team playoff with #25 a wild card. And they'll still complain about poor #26 being left out.

IF I were the GM of the Bears, having the 1st and 6 or 7th pick, I would take Harrison at 1, and then grab a QB with the 6th or 7th pick. What would you do ? Trade Fields? Trade the #1 pick ? Pick Williams with the #1 pick, or draft a different QB with it ?

Yeah I tuned in when it was 49-3 or something so missed discussion about the impact of those missing players. Not much of a CFB fan so didn't bother to even read about it. Fan enough however to believe both Georgia and Alabama should have been in the playoffs.
