I like your list minus Favre and Elways

Favre - the fakeness of him turned my stomach - Rodgers is now getting into this territory

Elway - as a Raiders fan I hated Elway because he was soo good!

I will get blasted here but even though I was not a Cowboys fan, Staubach was fun to watch

Fran goes on that list for me around Vick's spot

Honorable mention for Jim "Captain Comeback" Harbaugh

No QB list of mine is ever complete without Jim Plunkette either

Randall
Fouts
Fran
Staubach
Bradshaw
Montana
Williams
Plunkett
later Vick
youg Brady

Can't believe I forgot Bradshaw. He's on my list somewhere.

Brad H -> RE: Around the NFL (News) - 2013 Season (12/8/2016 2:31:27 PM)

Least favorite quarterbacks of all time:

1) Warren Moon (complete choker when it mattered)
2) Dan Marino (bad teammate, always screamed down his wide receivers)
3) Daunte Culpepper (#84 gave him everything)
4) Phillip Rivers (the new Marino)
5) Jim Everett (total pussy)
6) Phil Simms (even worse as an announcer)
7) Bernie Kosar (worst skill-set I have ever seen)
8) Joe Theismann (broken leg was a top-5 play for me)
9) Tom Brady (tuck rule, deflate gate, hot wife...nuff said)
10) Bob Griese (lucky he had a great running game)

JTC2017 -> RE: Around the NFL (News) - 2013 Season (12/8/2016 9:52:47 PM)

gGood stuff

Can't stand Simms as an annoucer either

Worse than Collinsworth

JT2 -> RE: Around the NFL (News) - 2013 Season (12/9/2016 1:47:55 AM)

Phil Simms was tough, old school tough. Never a great QB, in the way we typically measure them, but the cat stood in the pocket and delivered when it mattered. Took a beating and kind of seemed to like it. I think he was a hockey player at heart.

Another guy that never makes a list, good or hated, is Jim Kelly. I liked the way Jim Kelly played.

Buffalo is not a good place for a QB to put up great stats. Sorry Packer fans, Buffalo is a much harder place to play QB.

Kelly was good, underrated and playing in a place no QB wants to play in.

Likewise, ease up on the Tyrod Taylor criticisms. His numbers don't tell the whole story.

Literally can't listen to the game when Simms is doing it. Interestingly, I couldn't stand Collinsworth when he started, but I'm okay with him now.

Nobody is better than Aikman at color right now. He's informational, articulate and not afraid to call out the officials for a bad call.

JC2015 -> RE: Around the NFL (News) - 2013 Season (12/11/2016 8:43:41 AM)

I swear Simms took too many shots to the head

He is the worst

Collinsworth I can't stand because he forms an opinion on someone early and won't come off it even when the player changes his game

Bill Jandro -> RE: Around the NFL (News) - 2013 Season (12/11/2016 9:19:55 AM)

What I can't stand about the bulk of the announcers is how poorly they are prepared when trying to give incite about a team.

ie: On thanksgiving day Collingsworth (or whomever) was saying how poor of a pass blocking oline we have but they are maulers in the run game.

JC2015 -> RE: Around the NFL (News) - 2013 Season (12/11/2016 9:21:46 AM)

exactly

Plus despite sitting next to the worst announcer in sports Joe Buck, He tends to stay pretty neutral when calling games.

The worst I ever remember was Boomer Esiason doing color on a Monday night game Dallas vs the Vikings in the Metrodump. It was blatantly obvious he was rooting for the Cowboys, everything they did was the best thing ever. They were so good and the Vikings well they were there. Vikings were workng the Boys that night and Esiason didn't know what to do.

Dennis Miller MNF was pretty bad also

Shuffle ... Shuffle .... Shuffle ....
"The New England Patriots just won 11 games. For the seventh straight season."
(Mic drop)
Shuffle .....Shuffle......Shuffle

SoMnFan -> RE: Around the NFL (News) - 2013 Season (12/13/2016 4:10:50 PM)

And .... For all you "scandal chicken littles" ...... The Steelers were found this week to have deflated footballs to a much more dubious degree than the Patriots ever did.
Not hearing about it, are we?
The NFL shows no consistency or integrity in how it treats its members and employees. At all.

Imagine being a true fan of that team - not just a bandwagoner. And imagine constantly getting rewarded.

Greatest team, best QB ever, and best coach ever. Incredible run.

Sigh

Seriously. If the NFL wants to avoid these issues, they need to just take complete control of the game balls. Don't let the teams handle them except for on the field, during the game.

Lynn G. -> RE: Around the NFL (News) - 2013 Season (12/14/2016 9:22:31 AM)

I thought that was what they proclaimed after deflate-gate. Aren't they taking control of the balls this season?

JC2015 -> Dirty Bird strikes again (12/15/2016 6:02:59 PM)

Former Atlanta Falcons running back Jamal Anderson was banned from a QuikTrip store in Gwinnett County, Georgia, after police said he exposed himself to a store clerk Wednesday, according to Steve Burns of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Per TMZ Sports: "The clerk reported a black male had walked into the store early Wednesday morning, slurred something and started handing over money. He started walking around the store. A short while later he walked up to the clerk and took out his penis and started masturbating."
The clerk then called 911. The call can be heard below:

JTC2017 -> RE: Dirty Bird strikes again (12/16/2016 1:32:05 PM)

The two easiest schedules in the NFL this year are Detroit and New England

Find another store to masturbate in.

Find another store to masturbate in.

While it may be amusing, he could have serious mental issues from multiple concussions while playing.

Better get him into a hospital. Might be suffering from CTU

Probably the same thing with Darren Sharper.
