St. Cloud with another Friday win. If they can get the win tonight they make a little progress.

Yes, it looks like we'll have to win the conference tourney. Not gonna be easy. BSU played a very tough non-conference schedule and ended up with zero non-conference wins. That's killing them in the Pairwise. They actually played Duluth and North Dakota very well. But a loss is a loss. Should have swept Princeton. Instead we got swept. That's killing us too.

SCSU up to 12 in the pairwise. If they can hold on to that ranking it might be enough to make the tourney. Gophers did SCSU a favor beating OSU last night.

Beavers get a nice shout-out from the national TV crew today doing the Wild game.
Helps that Eddie O's kid works there, I suppose.
But I do appreciate how Pierre stays up on ALL levels of hockey, not just the most-important one.

UMD owns SCSU, and that's the important one since they are in the same conference.

UMD this one season has owned SCSU. Other than that IIRC SCSU has been getting the better of that series, but that is just off the top of my head and I could be totally wrong.

OK I checked last year and it was a split with SCSU winning the NCHC title game over UMD so I wouldn't say that UMD has owned the Huskies. Season before that UMD did win 3 out of four. OK UMD has had SCSU's number over the last three years, but with SCSU winning the big one.

Gerrrrryyyyyy!

Can't believe how consistently we've been able to pull out wins in conference play this year. I really don't think we're better than any of the Top 6 in the WCHA. We've been a combination of lucky, and maybe a touch of wanting it more. Well...Bitzer helps too. But all the goaltending in the league is pretty solid.

We have as good a chance as anyone to win the WCHA tourney. But we are nowhere close to being a lock. We've always struggled in the league tourney, even when we have home ice.

Bitzer with a game-saving stonewalling!! Thought for sure we were heading for OT! I never worry about Bitzer.

From the only sport on the planet that matters SCSU and Denver are tied 1-1 in the first period. Go Huskies.

Ends up a 4-3 loss in OT at the #1 ranked team in the country. SCSU is so close, but probably out of the playoffs. IIRC an overtime loss is just a loss according to NCHC rules. SCSU really bad in OT losing 5 of the last 6 OTs they have played.

Shoot! That sucks. SCSU is one of my favorite teams.

BSU beat Mankato last night. We're dominating them this season.
