The more I see of Suzy Kolber, the more I understand where Joe Namath was coming from.

I'm with you. Anyone that cute who knows more about football than I do is automatically hot in my book. She's not like some of the bimbos that the NFL Network puts on the air.

SoMnFan -> RE: Vikes talk for Twins fans (4/30/2015 3:16:02 PM)

Bingo
Quite the package

TJSweens -> RE: Vikes talk for Twins fans (4/30/2015 4:04:56 PM)

Sorry, still not gettin it.

bstinger -> RE: Vikes talk for Twins fans (4/30/2015 8:45:01 PM)

Vikes select Mich St. CB Waynes.

Should be a pretty good pick.

bstinger -> RE: Vikes talk for Twins fans (4/30/2015 8:45:25 PM)

Kolber is a hotty.

bstinger -> RE: Vikes talk for Twins fans (4/30/2015 9:53:16 PM)

I'm no college talent expert, but positionally, my next 3 picks I'd like to see Safety, Linebacker, LG. Then pick up some depth picks maybe at WR, RB, OL, DL.

Kind of cute? I suppose. Hotty? I just don't see it.

It's officially a great pick. Jeff Allen hates it.

Jeff Jesser -> RE: Vikes talk for Twins fans (5/1/2015 10:31:46 AM)

If we still had Frazier, terrible pick. Given Zim's track record? Not a sexy pick but could be a hell of a D in a year or 2.

It was already becoming a helluva D last year. I have faith that Zim will have that D at or near the top of the league.

TJSweens -> RE: Vikes talk for Twins fans (5/1/2015 11:05:45 AM)

Yep. Frazier's system called for the corners to play a major role in rune support. Zimm's system demands cover corners first and foremost. That is what we drafted. A cover guy.

bstinger -> RE: Vikes talk for Twins fans (5/1/2015 11:52:24 AM)

I hated the Tampa 2. I love that we got a guy who believes in an attacking D. Having 2 stud cover corners who can go 1 on 1 allows you to blitz a lot more. I don't know if Waynes will work out or not, but I like the idea of having 2 great corners.

Jeff Jesser -> RE: Vikes talk for Twins fans (5/1/2015 7:36:14 PM)

Holy crap. We are locked in on LB now too after that pick. This has a chance to be top 5 next year. You add AP coming back, Teddy and the deep threat of Wallace [:-]

bstinger -> RE: Vikes talk for Twins fans (5/1/2015 9:30:23 PM)

Need some OL help and I'd like an upgrade at S opposite Smith.

Trader Rick doing what he does. Hope those late rounders pay off.

Minnesota Vikings: A

Minnesota's primary needs were at cornerback and offensive tackle. It dealt with the first issue at pick No. 11 by taking Michigan State's Trae Waynes, a highly physical and aggressive press cornerback. He'll be a perfect bookend for Xavier Rhodes if he learns to deal with crossing routes and avoids a heap of penalty flags. Pitt right tackle T.J. Clemmings dropped to the fourth round due to medical concerns, but if the converted defensive lineman can stay healthy, he might be the best tackle out of this class in a couple years. Second-round linebacker Eric Kendricks should be able to start right away in the middle of Mike Zimmer's defense, while third-round pass-rusher Danielle Hunter from LSU is both freakishly athletic and raw like sushi. He'll need some time with a line coach, but there's a lot to like there. In addition, the Vikings got two much-needed targets for Teddy Bridgewater: Southern Illinois tight end MyCole Pruitt (one of my favorite small-school guys this year) and Maryland speed receiver Stefon Diggs, who can line up all over the place. —DF

Stacey King -> RE: Vikes talk for Twins fans (5/7/2015 1:23:35 PM)

The Dallas Cowboys have signed undrafted free agent offensive lineman La'El Collins. Collins' contract with the Cowboys is a three-year deal and is fully guaranteed. According to our Jason La Canfora, "With performance pool play -- based on playing time -- Collins could earn $400,000 more per season as well and, including a likely high RFA tender in 2018, his compensation over four years as an undrafted player could still be higher than anyone picked in the second round."

Mr. Ed -> RE: Vikes talk for Twins fans (5/11/2015 1:40:28 PM)

Whee!!

The ‪#‎Vikings‬ have signed former @GopherFootball player Isaac Fruechte.

Stacey King -> RE: Vikes talk for Twins fans (5/12/2015 9:55:01 AM)

Brady's agent & Kraft should zip it. Victims now? They are embarrassing. Brady had the chance to clear this up.

[&:][&:] Just yet another thing that shows this whole thing is a sham from the NFL. If you read the context of the texts (which themselves are out of context) you will come to far different conclusions than the NFL. But oh, the horror, the Patriots were giving autographs and shoes to these guys. Umm, go ask ANY equipment manager in pro sports, at any level. That's often one of their big perks/payments.

What a joke this entire thing is. Give it up, NFL.
