I get your point Bill And it ended up working in the end But I don't ram my beautiful new pickup over and over into a tree. I look for ways to avoid trees, and see the scenery around and beyond. You can have a plan that is a lot less taxing on the equipment, than that one was. Yes, you need to run on first down sometimes. Yes, those will be stopped for no gain occasionally. But when you do it on 95% of your possessions, just stop it. Predictability, imo, is the biggest enemy of the Minnesota Vikings. And its self-inflicted. Has been, since 1961. My wife did the same thing to me that you did ... "would you shut up about it" she said as she left the room. [:D] Its refreshing to watch other teams. NE for years, has given me the thrill of not knowing what is coming. KC has taken over that role. They run when you swear they'd pass. They pass when you know they need to run. The results speak for themselves. Our dinosaurs just keep wanting to TELL you we are running, and then run. It's maddening to me.
