Not sure I've ever seen so many "really? you called that?" type penalties called on one team, in one game
Maybe see those once in awhile, but wow, we just seem to get the "don't see that called often" flags over and over and over again.
Agree Mark, we must have some whiners.
The old dude in charge yesterday seemed very pleased to be setting us back regularly.

and yes .... I get it, we shoulda won anyway.

I've seen RBs and WRs about snap defenders necks with stiff arms and never saw a penalty. Bisi finally catches a ball and gets flagged.

The block in back might be the only one called on a Gunner this year. Maybe any year.

Bercich was coming unglued w/the refs and these calls.

The Smith call was the worst in his mind. Wondering what he has to do at this point.

The Smith call was flat out ridiculous. The receiver was still trying to bring in the ball. There was no helmet involved. The impact was chest to chest. Later Cook gets blown up with the exact same hit and fumbles the ball...no penalty.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought the officiating was atrociously one sided and ridiculous.

Cowboys defenders were leading with the helmet and no call.
Smith gets flagged for hitting defenseless reciever.
Cook gets blown up almost exactly the same way an no flag.
there were countless examples in this game and I hope the front office protests with the league on some of them.

I do have to say ...
The modern athlete is incredible
The catches these guys are making are off the charts
Thielen with some dandies, JJ had a nice one with the extended hands and strength, but damn ...
that Lamb contortionist lay-out that he had to adjust to at the last millisecond was almost like it had to be photoshopped
Don't be a lazy old opinionated fat guy on the couch and say "whatever"
Give these kids some credit
Pass catching has improved daily lately. They don't see any limits They practice their craft and hone it to levels we never dreamed possible.
Good on them.

So Thielen is cutting off a lot of routes. Ouch.

Is that what happened on last play? That would explain Cousins reaction.

Don't know. Just going off what PA and Bercich are talking about on 9 to Noon. Didn't watch the game. It would be the equivalent of watching a Tigers vs Royals game on September 26th.

So you took time to listen to PA and Bercich but didn't watch the game.

Agree with all you said.

But, super velcro gloves would have helped Sammy White and Ahmad Rashad put up many more highlight reel catches.

Was crushed initially when Lamb was off the board. Was the WR i wanted MN to take.

Jefferson has been a sweet consolation.

Lost in the mix, after the horrific ending, was

* we found out our punter can throw the ball better than he can kick it
* we found another guy (Boyd) who doesn't understand the game of football, so that's nice

You can bring it to your QBs (or your punters) attention that HEY IM UNCOVERED, when you are playing in the back yard at Thanksgiving with your cousin Billy and the kids ... but in the real life NFL, you still gotta stay set, while you are peeing your pants in anticipation.
Good Lord

Our ST are a hot mess, in a dumpster, on fire. WTH

See the Strib is piling on Cousins

Other QBs led late rallies but he didn't.

IMO

Biggest difference?

And I agree w/Bercich

Cousins is at his best working off play action. Esp yesterday when Dallas kept selling out.

The late situation didn't allow for it, so he had zero advantage and actually had to try and read coverage.

The 3 passes before the last one were right on the money.

Thielen on the reserve/COVID list

for now

David Levine -> RE: Vikes talk for Twins Fans (11/23/2020 4:03:39 PM)

Receiver Adam Thielen became the sixth Vikings player in the past month to be isolated on the team’s reserve/COVID-19 list, the team announced on Monday.

Thielen either tested positive or was in close contact with an infected individual; based on NFL-NFLPA policy, teams don’t officially announce individual cases. But there have been only two known positive cases, linebacker Todd Davis and guard Dru Samia, among the six players. Only Thielen and Samia are on the list as of Monday afternoon.

Thielen can still be cleared to return for Sunday’s game against the Panthers. The NFL requires a minimum five-day quarantine for high-risk close contacts and asymptomatic cases, and at least 10 days for symptomatic cases. Players can return even sooner if they’re not positive nor deemed a “high-risk” close contact, as long as they test negative.

Three other players, including fullback C.J. Ham last week, have been put on the list and returned without missing game time. Samia and Davis, the known positive cases, missed at least one game.

33ml per and the guy needs an advantage [&:]

Even Ryan Fitzpatrick at an annual 5.5ml salary coming in cold off the bench drove his team down well in to FG range before throwing an int(they need a td).

The chickens have come home to roost and Cousins and Spielman need to go.

Must have been spending too much time up in Thief River Falls. Maybe even took Highway 10 and came through Little Falls. I was quarantined. But I'm thinking many other infected people on the Hwy 10 corridor were not.

No Thanksgiving night game

The Baltimore Ravens-Pittsburgh Steelers game has been moved from Thanksgiving night to Sunday afternoon, the NFL announced Wednesday.

The game was moved following positive coronavirus tests for a number of Ravens players. In all, Baltimore has had five players and four staffers test positive this week, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

"This decision was made out of an abundance of caution to ensure the health and safety of players, coaches and game day personnel and in consultation with medical experts," the NFL said in a statement.

The Ravens announced Monday that running backs J.K. Dobbins and Mark Ingram had tested positive for COVID-19. Outside linebacker Pernell McPhee and defensive tackle Brandon Williams have also been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list this week.

You could coat those old timers in flypaper, and roll em in stickum
None of them could catch balls like these kids.
Huge hands, and years of practicing the uncatchable, have changed the game.
Nobody was allowing that thought process back in the day. CC started it imo. Or at least perfected it,
Since then its been an amazing progression.

CC definitely was the standard for work and for staying inbound while making the tough catch. These receivers likely are doing some of the drills he started.

First receiver I remember being tough about keeping feet in was Fred B.

Started making that stuff an art form.

I swear the pass could hit Biletnikoff in the back and it would stick to his jersey.

Redneck looking goober
he and Branch were thunder and lightning baby
Then the Ghost in the middle
