Milone, 28, wasn't in agreement when the Twins said he needed to go to Triple-A, but he didn't pout. "Up there with the Twins is where I want to be, but I had to come down here and work on some things," Milone said. "I was nibbling a bit too much (with the Twins). I need to get strike one and work off that." He did that all night against Durham, primarily with a fastball and sharp-biting curve. He went to his change-up only periodically, and not until the later innings. "It was kind of one of those, if it ain't broke don't fix it type things," said Milone, who was named International League Pitcher of the Week on Monday morning for his eight shutout innings and 12 strikeouts in a 1-0 win over Toledo last Wednesday.
