He's as impressive a hitter as I've seen in my years of watching the #MNTwins Midwest League affiliates (8-9 years). Only Sano and AB Walker had as much (or more) power. His opposite field swing is as sweet as Nick Gordon and Eddie Rosario.

I think a trip to Fort Myers is not only deserved but also a good idea for a guy who hasn't figured out his mechanics. He is facing ML quality fastballs at the AAA level. Control of the breaking pitches is not as sharp at AAA but there are pitchers who have nasty stuff. Buxton would be better off facing younger arms that he is more familiar with and can handle. Both he and Sano are start-over projects. Both are proof positive that the Twins organization is far and away the worst at developing young players.

RHP Kohl Stewart has a 1.48 ERA in 4 June starts for @ChattLookouts. In 24.1 IP, he has 29 Ks, 8 BB. Still just 23. LHP Tyler Jay, meanwhile, has a 10.29 ERA in his past 5 relief outings for @ChattLookouts . 12 hits, 3 BB, 7 Ks in past 7 IP. Turned 24 in April.

Yep and with the next pick the Red Sox took Andrew "We Didn't Need Him" Benintendi .291 .375 .522 .897 with 13 HR and 50 RBI this year after coming in 2nd in ROY voting last year.

All coaches, players, scouts, trainers, ect.... Ryan and Pohlad built a country club over 20 years. Staying drunk off 1987 and 1991 and pretending they knew what they were doing. Would love to see some saber metrics at an organizational level. Twins developed almost zero power hitters and pitchers in a 25 year stretch. I think the Twins are LA Clippers bad. Back when Nipsey Russell errr Elgin Baylor sat at the lottery table every year like a deer in headlights. The yearly announcement of the new food offerings makes my blood boil. Its a reminder of everything wrong with the entire organization.

That's 18 in how many games? How many times has he been caught? Edit: I found his numbers. 18 steals in 60 games caught 4 times. In 162 games that would be 48 steals caught 10 times. Last year he had 18 in 54 games caught 3 times. Solid percent.

From CR Lots of scouts at ballpark lately. LOVE overhearing them talk to each other. Good topics today. 1. Kids don't know how to play the game anymore, byproduct of so many showcases. 2. Scout said Brusdar Graterol is best pitching prospect he's seen in 38 years of scouting.
