Trade speculation is media bs
He’s not going anywhere
Makes it more likely Schoop is gone after a year

Sano has won one game for WaR
Has had a hand in a bunch of losses

That’s about all I measure in WAR stats

WAR works like this: Let's say he has won 3 games in WAR. Then he has lost 2.2 games in WAR. So he's 0.8 WAR. If he had lost more games than he won, as you are speculating, then he would have a negative WAR.

This of course assumes WAR is not subjective, inaccurate calculation, which it of course it is.

You need to proofread this.

You need to stop pretending WAR has any validity.

MDK -> RE: Players and prospects III (6/25/2019 12:33:58 PM)

Adrianza is also faster on the bases than Arreaz.

In the past, with normal positioning, your third baseman was required to have a strong arm, quick hands, excellent fielding skills, ability to charge a bunt and throw while range could be limited. Sano, a very large man with a great and strong arm was fine for 3rd base. But with the shifts, the 3rd baseman sometimes has to cover as much ground as the shortstop used to. Having range is now more crucial.

Also with the shifts and how far back infielders are now playing, being able to charge the ball and throw is probably more important than lateral range for a shortstop or second baseman.

Sano might be Wally Pipped because of defensive shifts.

I'll have to check his defensive WAR numbers.[&:]

Jeez, Hall of Famers and cheaten ass bastards with great stats have high WARS. Wow Matt, you ... really didn't prove anything with that list. It says nothing about the accuracy of the number or the validity of the ranked order of players.

I thought the same thing when I heard the score of the Rochester game on the radio last night.

Still waiting for that first 10-9 Twins win this season.

He’s definitely having a breakout season

About on time now
22 until November

And probably has to be added to the 40 man roster

No brainer now
