I told you guys to keep your eyes on this guy. He could be called up very soon, especially if Kepler needs to go on the Injured List with his banged-up knee.

Yes Jeff, after several posts from Ed, updating his fast start at AAA, you said to keep an eye out for him. Thanks for the tip.

Cabbage or Cubbage?

McMurfy -> RE: Players and prospects III (7/12/2019 10:15:42 AM)

Cabbage or Sour Kraut?

Mr. Ed -> RE: Players and prospects III (7/12/2019 10:18:42 PM)

Blankenhorn with his 15th double in Pensacola 4-2loss, drove in his 43rd run, most of them from the leadoff spot.

FTM won 8-4

Larnach 3 hits including HR #6, Costello HR #7, Helman 3 hits, Lewis 1-5

Enlow only lasted 3

Balazovic, whom many think the Twins would trade instead of Graterol, went the last 4, and struck out six.

Mr. Ed -> RE: Players and prospects III (7/13/2019 4:12:04 PM)

In 9 games and 19 1/3 IP since joining the @RocRedWings, RH RP Cody Stashak has a 1.86 ERA and has 29 strikeouts to go with just four walks. In 47 2/3 combined innings this year (AA and AAA), he has 9 walks and 60 strikeouts.

Stashak struck out 2 in the 9th today, got the win in a walkoff for Roch.

Allen pitched an inning, a hit/bb/K

Romero pitched 2, 3H/R/3K

Get Blankenhorn up here in September for a look. The Twins have many options for IF in the present and very near future. I will welcome the day that Sano is no longer a Twins player and Schoop as well. The Twin need guys who put the ball into play. It was very frustrating to watch 30 K's on Saturday and Sunday.

TJSweens -> RE: Players and prospects III (7/15/2019 8:47:08 AM)

Per the Buffet King, the Twins supposedly have only 3 minor leaguers that are off limits in trade talks. Lewis, Kiriloff and Graterol. The other top prospects are available for pitchers that would be here beyond this year.

Would you trade any of them for Syndergaard? Two years of arbitration after this season, where he's making 6 million.

I would.

I don't know. Syndergaard is not having a particularly good year. He seems to have a little trouble holding up over the course of a season. He has missed a lot of starts since making 30 in 2016. His strikeouts have also been inching down over that time.

Of top Prospects, 1 of the three TOP guys is usually good.
I’d give up Kiriloff and Graterol if they threw in some relievers.
