Good for Varland. He's been ok, not spectacular, but getting the opportunity given the state of development in the Twins organization for pitchers.

Wishing #MNTwins pitching prospect Matt Canterino all the best. He’s going to have Tommy John Surgery later this month. The famous Dr. Keith Meister will do it. This should once and for all clean up his battle going back over a year.

They are adding hotels and multiple fields for 2024-5 to have tourneys there.

IMO, it will ruin it. As constructed now, with earth moved to elevate some of the corn, the sight lines are incredible. From field level all you see is corn from almost any angle.

Eventually this will look like the Alamo.

I don't see the "youth sports complex" doing all that well. Other metro areas have all kinds of places to eat and entertainment options when you are not playing. People are going to get bored as hell, you can only stand there and look at the movie site for so long.

Like most things, corporate greed will ruin it.

Even a permanent stadium for the MLB/Minor league games will take away from the atmosphere that it has currently.
