I love watching athletic defenders that can wreak havoc on opposing QBs. If I was a little bit older, I would likely pick Alan Page. By the time I started following the team (around 1974/1975) I only got to see him in purple for a few years, and I was probably still too young to really appreciate his play.
Instead, I would say it's a player I enjoyed watching for his entire Viking career: John Randle.
I loved watching his aggressive play, getting QB sacks and lots of forced fumbles. Page had more sacks, but after watching replays of Randle and Page, Randle seems to have been more explosive on his hits and tackles, and his technique seemed better at causing fumbles too. Randle was also quite a character and I'll never forget the way he wore his eye black like warpaint to try to intimidate opposing offenses. I also loved the Nike commercial he was in too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Gc5psrFIQA. Still hard to believe that he went undrafted.

Heimdall kept the “ringing” horn, Gjallarhorn, which could be heard throughout heaven, earth, and the lower world; he would sound the horn to summon the gods when their enemies drew near.
