also still wondering how a NE receiver on the final play can get obliterated by a Philly DB about 15 yards into the route, while everyone is watching, and it's ignored?
Very simple to find it, NE sends three on the same fly pattern, watch the trailing WR once. Gets hit blatantly, stops him from completing the route.
All kinds of interesting calls yesterday, both ways. Did like the Head Ref tho, seems like a solid dude. Beats the hell out of Hochuli.
Also on that final play I saw on replay a very obvious off. interference penalty which should have been called on O'Gronski while he was running his pattern so that cuts both ways. And as mentioned previously only 6 penalties on New England during the entire playoffs & 4 of those were in one game. WTF!
I'm a strong supporter of the "letting them play" philosophy usually seen in playoffs but let's ensure that liberal policy holds for both teams.
Agree on the Head Ref.....glad he had the guts to stick with the call on the field on both of those Eagle plays, both of which IMO correct.
