There is a Teague Bashing Fan Club?

Pretty much you and DL if you haven't realized. All year and even in the playoffs you talk about Rubio vs. Teague and not what it takes to beat the Rockets. Rubio of course in a favorable light and Teague in non favorable even when he plays ok....but continue on.

That is fine you can have your favorites....but when you start saying I think Teague is a superstar when I don't because I am not joining in on the bashing that is when I have a problem.

Honestly, Thibs is more the focus of my ire over this. He had a master distributor with a massive BBIQ and one of the best defensive points in the league in the middle of 3 scorers. Thibs unloaded him for a draft pick and signed a shoot first PG with a low BBIQ and a terrible defender, eating up considerably more cap space in the process. faTeague is just the symptom. Thibs is the disease.

I think I am a little more realistic than most about this...46-36 with Jimmy out 23 games. Wiggins, Dieng, and Bjelica didn't progress like they should have and Towns didn't progress defensively.

I would like to see a win or two against Houston but even if they faced Houston in the 2nd round they aren't going to take them down this year. Thibs has a lot of work to do this offseason, including his philosophy.

This team as currently constructed isn't a championship team....you can blame Thibs or Teague all you want....but w/o the additions of Taj and Butler---this probably isn't a playoff team either.

Thib's has to be aware of how badly he is getting bashed by media and some prominent BB people.

Grampa Glen has even caught on between naps.

Butler is definitely not himself and Towns has been a big disappointment in the series so far.
When your 2 best players are under performing in the playoffs against the #1 seed you are in big trouble.

Is Capella that good or is the stage simply too big for Towns ?

On 78 possessions (offensive) against Capela, Towns has scored 7 points.
There is no question that the schemes Thibs is using are of no help to Towns. I stated many times how losing Rubio would hurt both Towns and Wiggins offensively.
How can Rose have taken 5 more shots than Towns so far in this series?
There still is no excuse for the way Capela is dominating us offensively too.
Thib's isn't doing Towns any favors and certainly shares in the blame.

Coaching.

We had the #4 offense during the season, but it was an incredibly rudimentary offense focusing on not turning it over and letting our best players "get theirs".

And in the regular season, you can get away with that. Teams don't really gameplan for regular season games that much, but in the playoffs you have time to prep for a team you might be playing 7 straight games.

The Rockets are taking away what we like to do, and we're not doing a damn thing to counter it.

What could Adam Thielen possibly be doing sitting right behind the TWolves bench, I thought he was supposed to be working at the Sunglass hut after the Football season?

All in on the Wolves after my boys bowed out rather meekly.

Hope the Karma doesn’t rub off..

It becomes painfully obvious after watching games all day, how little we move on offense compared to other teams.

So much standing around.

2, 3 and 4 minutes for Bjelica, Dieng and Jones.

I can’t imagine any of the 3 will want to come back next year.

Butler, Wiggins and Rose kept us even that half.
Don't trust Rose, but he has played well today.

He doesn’t need to score. That’s D Rose’s job.

Philadelphia is the opposite of us. They played poorly through 3 quarters. Embiid 2-11. Simmons and Embiid combined for 15 turnovers. No panic, no desperation moves. Just continued to play their game.

Dragic, Richardson and Wade played really well. There was even a Whiteside appearance. Didn't matter, Philly just kept doing their thing. They play much more experienced than they are.

There is really no reason to play Taj in this game.

He can't defend the perimeter, he's not a shotblocker and he's lost on offense.

If only we had a PF that could shoot the 3, pass the ball and defend the arc a little bit....

Failing to properly close out the 2nd quarter is us.

I think Harden can easily, and will, take over this game if it becomes necessary.

Towns having trouble offensively regardless who is covering him.

Yep.

He would be a fantastic bench player on a good team. Put him in situations where he can succeed.

Gibson plays as hard as anybody (Thibodeau) but he's just not equipped physically, and offensive skill set, to play starter minutes in today's game.

I'm happy he doesn't seem to be pressing it offensively, and he's cleaning the glass.

This should be him on a medium-good night. Far too infrequent, but I'm happy he came to play tonight.
