Might have to change the name of US Bank Stadium to Wounded Knee field

Should get the TCO logo on there. Orthopedic's rejoice!

One thing nice about a stumbling season, as opposed to a 15-1 season of domination, there appear to be some really good teams out there, and should the Vikes win the SB, it will be quite gratifying beating some good teams along the way.

Saints, Rams, Panthers, Eagles, Patriots, Chiefs all look pretty tough [I am thinking the Eagles will finish strong].

Sounds like #Vikings TE David Morgan escaped serious injury to his left knee. However, he's expected to miss some time.

Same thing he's done the past 2 years...nothing...

He played some offense as a rookie, but the past 3 years, he's basically a ST guy.

Dear Detroit:

I and the vast majority of Vikings Fans give you unrestricted permissions and approval to recruit, hire, offer a contract, or anything else necessary to get Mike Preifer to become your special teams coach..

We will, as fans, throw in a bag of footballs and a box of doughnuts, and as many anti gay island nuclear weapons as we can get our hands on..

Enjoy and respond soon ...

This offer never expires.

Sincerely,

The Vikings Fan Base

Any year now this guy is gonna get snatched up for a promotion. Any year now...

I actually thought he did well as HC when covering for Zimmer (and his eye). I just don't think he's gotten the most out of our special teams unit.

Hopefully someone wants to recycle him as a HC.

This is good. Bill Brown is definitely one of my all time favorite players. https://youtu.be/dZLbA9vGxH8

I'd be Bill Brown as I dove over the snow pile and into the end zone.

I was Foreman when I did that.
If I plowed through the snow without leaving the ground, THEN I was Bill Brown.

Posted mine without looking further. Kids all up and down the state covered in snow.........

Was actually going to add Osborn in there too.
has there ever been a tougher combo? Doubt it.
2 hard-nosed SOBs
Softening things up for Clinton Jones.

Gotta get Oscar Reed a carry as well.....

A kudos to Rick and scouts for the pick. Broken record but Oneil's RAS and SPARQ were near top of the class. Another kudos to the coaches for a helluva job in development.

Are you saying Oneil does this or you don't see him doing it?

No, matter where you are on the spectrum, this is very impressive. Rookie making a difference this year. I didn't expect him to until next year. Plus you might be looking at our future LT (and 12M cap savings)

If Remmers is growing into a solid guard (all I'm hoping for). Elf continues to improve. Reif gets healthy (and back to average to slightly above average. Oneil continues on the same trajectory.

That might mean Dora/Izzy or Compton is our weak link. THAT you can scheme around. I personally hope Izzy takes the job and continues to grow.

this is a good thing....

Courtney Cronin@CourtneyRCronin
Kirk Cousins said he's asked Vikings analytics to get him the 'numbers within the numbers' as it pertains to his fumbles so he can correct the ones he can control (running w/ the ball, ball security fumbles) rather than focusing on shotgun snaps that go awry, result in a fumble.

Reiff dead cap

2019... 6.6 ml
2020....4.4 ml
2021....2.2 ml

Reiff isn't going anywhere until maybe 2021. That is the last year of O'Neal's rookie deal

I see Harris played 100% of the defensive snaps against Det

Kearse 23%
Iloka 0%

Extend Harris now

Good to see the coaching staff playing the best players vs exp and pedigree.

Our defense is much sounder on the back end with Harris.

Our Oline is much sounder with Hill on the pine.

Our Oline is much sounder as well with Compton on the trainers table. Let's keep him there.

reiff is solid at lt...no reason to rush his departure...perhaps we can restructure him and save some short-term cap money....

at this time i really do not see us extending barr....

possible cap savings next season:

sendejo....$5.5m
griffen....$10.5m
waynes....$9m
rudolph....$7.6m
remmers....$4.5m
