Suter used to be a top defenseman, but post-injury he's barely top 20.
They had to award 1 All Star spot to a Wild player, so they figured they may as well use Dubnyk as a shooting gallery that weekend.

17. Minnesota Wild

Previous ranking: 18

Resolution: To let Bruce Boudreau down lightly this summer if this thing doesn't turn around, because he's a really good dude.

Why in the world is slow-mo Suter still on the PP? He can't even skate the puck up the ice any more.....

I'm sorry, but any PP that has Slo-mo as the QB is doomed for failure......
And the biggest damn problem is Slo-mo refuses to leave the ice until there is only 20 seconds left in the PP.

OMG that was an ugly win.
Seriously, if the Hab defenseman hadn't handed us that one, that game might still be going on.
Montreal is brutal right now.

Jordan Greenway made that goal happen. That was great power forward play. He put his big frame just outside the crease, where he couldn't get called for interference, locked the dman, who was futilely trying to move him, in place while Granny snaked around the pack and fired it past a goalie who never saw the puck.

It was hilarious.. the whiny bitch crowd wanted badly to scream for goalie interference, until they watched it.
He did an awesome job of stopping short and scaring the hell out of Price without touching him.

It's like Pierre Page used to preach ... go to the net and good things happen.

Would love to see a 4-0 roadie topped off tonight in Bahhhhhston

But I'd settle for a gruesome Marchand injury if I had to .....

Worst part of last night ...
Audra pumping Walz's tires for his incredible, deep, insightful, prediction last week ....
Where he basically said ...
"hockey is hard. sometimes you have good luck and sometimes you have bad luck. Sometime soon the Wild will be winning again"

It was earth-shattering, mind-blowing stuff. And of course he took full credit for the turnaround.

FSN is my Shepherd, I shall not want.
They make me lie down on my sofa;
They lead me beside teams beyond reproach;
They restore my soul.
They lead me in right paths For Their Name's sake.
Even though I may witness gross incompetence, I fear no evil;
For they are with me;
Their LaPanta and Their Bremer - they comfort me.
They prepare a broadcast before me in the presence of my enemies,
They anoint my head with obfuscation;
My cup overflows.
Surely above-averageness and moral victories shall follow me All the days of my life.
And I shall dwell on the channel of FSN My whole life long.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Whoa.

I guess I just assume Looth-ryn for most folks around here...but it most definitely explains the self-hatred based humor.

Raised in the Valley of the Hotdish, for sure.
Then had to promise to raise the kids in the I-know-I-sinned-but-I'm-here-so-forgive-me section of town.
Now I've moved on to self-policing my own thoughts.
It's going well.

Corleone....awesome post.....awesome.

Growing up, we had one Catholic in our class of 25 kids. Rest were Lutherans.

Didn't really understand the whole Catholic guilt thingee until I married my wife. These holy days of obligation.....yet I am still waiting for that lightening bolt to strike someone dead when they miss one of those.

One thing true about religion......it screws up everyone for life.

Typical
Now the experts can say "see? Dubnyks great. Stalock sucks"

Uhhh, yeah. that's it. Hope BB understands what he just did to Stalock.
Good part is, it won't bother Alex one bit. He's a bigger man than most.

3-1 roadie.

I takey

Anyone else notice how Bettmann! put us back on the 5-games-in-3-days schedule again? Idiot.
